Rosemount Boutique B&B

Booked a one night stay at this little gem of a b&b for my birthday treat. What can I say, a really lovely time we had. The warmest of welcomes from Lesley, who showed us to our room, which is like a little cottage of your own. Room absolutely spotless. A large comfy bed, we had a wonderful sleep, lovely waterfall shower , the water was piping hot! Large fluffy towels too. Nice modern quiet little fridge stocked with water and fresh milk, tea and coffee maker and nice tablet to try along with biscuits. Large tv with music and Netflix, sound bar. Providing a shower cap, shaving cream razor and toiletries is such a nice touch. Breakfast was amazing, although a little delicate from dining out and going to the local bars , the night before, the produce was delicious, served in another cute little breakfast room, so much choice, and a beautiful setting to enjoy. Had a wonderful stay, thanks for having us.

Hosts John & Lesley thankfully managed to book us in for a night as we travelled north. It was our first stay. The room is nice and cosy (the shower area has underfloor heating) complete with Netflix! The bed is super comfy and a highlight was the breakfast. You have it in the coach house and we were able to chat with John and Lesley - usually B&B host prepare breakfast away from the dining area and so it made a nice change to talk with them about many things as the kitchen adjoins the dining area. Another plus is having parking well away from the street next to the accommodation - so all in all a definite recommendation!

Stayed here for my birthday when I came to watch the great Karen Dunbar at Lanark Memorial Hall. This B&B has everything you could possibly need and the hosts are so lovely and welcoming too! It’s decorated beautifully and feels comfortable and safe if you’re a single female traveller like me. Would highly recommend! 10/10 🥰

The Rosemount Boutique B&B offers a comfortable stay after a day of exploration in Glasgow & Edinburgh. The rooms are well-appointed and are incredibly clean! The mattress was very comfortable and the shower was invigorating! The grounds of the B&B are BEAUTIFUL (the flowers leave you standing there in awe). In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, made by the owners, Lesley and John. They are so NICE and have truly made a beautiful retreat for tired guests.

This is a wonderful B&B. We received a warm welcome from Lesley. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The choice for breakfast was wide ranging. I suggest the full Scottish breakfast...it is excellent. This is a must stay venue if you are going to Lanark, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely return.

Having finished an 11-day chauffeur-driven tour of Scotland, all I needed was to chill out for a night before travelling back down south. I was booked in to the Rosemount and I would recommend this hospitality establishment without hesitation. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable, having removed the abundance of pillows. The breakfast was superb and very tasty, having ordered my requirements the previous evening, porridge then smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with good coffee. My hosts were very friendly and very helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant in the town and, even, 'phoned to book a table for me. I shall, definitely, be staying at the Rosemount again and would recommend others to do the same.
