Punta Isla Lake Resort

We travelled over three hours (with road stops) to stay in Punta Isla. We arrived late but we were welcomed with smiling faces of their frontline staff. Check in was smooth . Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They even helped us carry our bags to our rooms. Our room was facing the lake . Our dinner was served and all foods were yummy. Following day we woke up early and cruised the lake. Our breakfast was served while we were cruising the lake. There were cultural dances . After our cruise more picture taking took place and we had a dress up photo session. Randy was so patient assisting us all to dress up a Tiboli costume. Randy taught us how to pose . So much fun. To our cultural staff who entertained us with their dance and music thank you. To the rest of the support staff thank you for your beautiful customer service . They always deliver their service with a smile. I would strongly recommend this place. Visit and stay overnight. The ambience is very peaceful. This is a privately owned property. Support local businesses and spend your money on our local businesses who go beyond to assist their own clientele. Viva Punta Isla! Viva

We didn't stay at the hotel but came here on three different occasions and viewed the bedrooms for a future stay. The hotel has good views over the lake and the staff are really friendly. The property has a comfortable and relaxed feel to it. The restaurant was very basic in terms of position and ambience but the food served was tasty and of a good portion size. They offer tours of the lake and early morning viewing of the water lilies. The rooms are simple in construction but appear comfortable and very well maintained. Would happily stay here on a future visit.
