Whippoorwill Motel & Campsites

This camping trip started out as a family reunion, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay. The staff makes you feel like family. Every campsite is very well maintained. The bathhouse are the cleanest I have seen on our cross country travels. Our family has decided to make Whippoorwill at least a yearly trip for us.

This is a lovely RV park that offers level sites with water and electric, nice picnic tables and a fire ring at each site. The staff was very friendly and offered advice on places to visit. Connor especially gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. Unfortunately, we experienced mechanical issues with our RV and had to checkout earlier than we’d hoped. Whenever we are back in the area we most definitely will camp at Whippoorwill Motel and RV park.

Stayed in the RV park. Our site was very deep and backed up to the fence that seperates the park from the bike trail so we didn't have any neighbors behind. Speaking of the bike trail, nice easy access to the bike trail which was one of the main reasons for us choosing this park. The bath/shower house was a huge disappointment. Toilet facilities were clean and just fine, however, the shower facilities were terrible. 1 hook on the back of the door is all you're given to hang your towel and clothes. A small chair, stool or bench would be helpful to dress but the biggest problem was the showers! A child's toy watering can puts out more water and pressure than these showers! My husband said it was just as bad on the men's side!

We have stayed here for a few years now and this campground keeps getting better. We went to Saratoga for the day and came home later in the afternoon to such activities.....there was a food truck for anyone not wanting to cook and hay rides for the kids!!! A really nice winery that also served craft beer to appeal to everyone. We saw the same people that had been there previously and it is like a family reunion! And everyone respectfully adhered to the quiet times. A very good time was had by all! We definitely will be returning for a longer stay!

Had a nice, grassy full hookup site for our camper and parents and adult kids had motel rooms. Great accommodations for all. Staff super nice and accommodating, and grounds well kept. Loved having the rail trail so accessible. The wine slushies from the winery out front were great on those warm evenings. We will be back!

Excellent campground. Very nice place well located and very friendly staff. Lots of grass compared to other places we saw. Small and cozy place. It was full but we didn't feel overpacked. Keep up the great work.
