Nice location out of the busy part of town but then just a short drive to downtown. The room was nice but the pull out soft bed was very uncomfortable. The pool area was very nice for young children and older children as well. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel. Had a very fast check in. We went Saturday on Labor Day weekend. Expected prices to be very high and chose Clarion as it was the cheapest. (And still had vacancies) plus, Priced sensibly. Our key didn't work but maintenance was walking buy, tried it and immediately fixed the lock. We were pleasantly surprised. While we didn't use the pools, they were very clean and not crowded. The room and bath were very clean and comfortable. Had what they called a pool view but were very happy that we actually had a very nice quiet courtyard view with a walk out porch. (We could see the pool across the courtyard). We didn't eat at their restaurant so I can't review that or the room service. Close to a lot of restaurants and activities but slightly away from the Dels

A fairly-priced option for those who aren't interested in the massive waterpark resorts...however, that definitely didn't come without a catch. Immediately upon entering the lobby I caught a stuffy/musty smell - so strong that I couldn't even smell the pool 15 feet from the front desk. Decor is dated, in terms of condition- wallpaper peeling, paint chipping, etc. Door had enough of a gap that light came through, as did every single sound. The toilet next door sounded as though it was in our room. Patio door is old and poorly insulated, there was moisture and ice on the inside. Beds were firm, in a way that felt worn and not by design. Almost positive there is mold, as both asthmatics in our group had symptoms both nights - only when in the room, and at no other point in the weekend.

We just spent the weekend at this hotel and I'm shocked that Choice Hotels even has their brand on it. Our room was beyond repair in some areas --- banged up furniture, disgusting grout in the bathroom, bathroom wallpaper that has to be over 20 years old all peeling off, a toilet that was just barely hanging on. The tv in the room is one of the tiniest things I've seen and most of the regular channels didn't even work. The beds were comfortable. Lighting in the room was minimal and our desk lamp had two burned out bulbs. We called about them, but they never showed up to fix. The room was clean if you didn't look at the corners or beyond surface areas. The outdoor pool area is great for little kids. Easy to see them, great seating areas with plenty of space and on a busy weekend it was half full at the most. Had the service in this hotel been better, I would have seen past their dingy and old rooms, but only one person we encountered even cracked a smile. Everyone else was emotionless, didn't make eye contact or stared right past. It was the strangest thing. They are charging Wisconsin Dells resort prices and not providing even a quarter of the service.

Overall the property was nice and it was clean. The rooms were large. There was a vent in our bathroom that connected elsewhere and someone was vaping in the whole bathroom was full of Vape smoke. Just awful. It’s a non-smoking hotel but the vents should not connect the rooms which they did. They did not have a free continental breakfast and instead give you a 10% coupon off for their restaurant. I don’t see why they couldn’t have had a continental breakfast in addition to the restaurant option. Check-in was fast and the service was good. So the stay was OK except for the issues mentioned. It is very conveniently located by several restaurants within walking distance.

The beds/mattresses were very hard! One 8"x8" tile in the bathroom next to the shower/tub was completely loose! And the grout has been missing from around the tile for quite some time! The tub drain & sink drain was very slow in draining! And a light bulb was out in the desk/table lamp. The closet for hanging your clothes up was locked. And no continental breakfast.
