The Ranch at Laguna Beach

We had a lovely stay here - the hotel is clean and well looked-after. My husband and I came from NorCal for our honeymoon to Laguna Beach. It was our first time to the area and I just did some web research -- this looked like the best hotel in Laguna Beach from other reviews, etc. After staying here, we were very happy with our choice and we would definitely come back and recommend it to others. The rooms are spacious, clean, and they have good amenities. The staff were very helpful and kind and the entire property was very clean and well-maintained (it is a large property so we realized how much work went into this!). They left us a bottle of wine in our room as we were celebrating our honeymoon, which was very thoughtful (and water bottles and chocolate every day, which I think they do for everyone). We had breakfast and dinner at Harvest, which was delicious, and we also ate at the Lost Pier Cafe right on the beach and charged it to our room, which was very convenient (a short walk from the hotel). The poolside bar was also great for drinks and snacks.

Th Ranch is off the main Hwy but way off…. You truly have to travel to the broom of a canyon and -poof- there it is. It is quiet, elegant, simple, yet well thought out in every detail. The staff was amazing. Never a missed opportunity to make us feel welcome. I was here for a business meeting and every detail was taken care of. If I had one complaint it would be the that the lunch catering was okay. Not bad, just okay. The diner catering was better. The room was in bldg 6 (the entire place is a collection of small buildings) which makes it less hotel like and more private residence like. The room was spacious and well appointed. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a nice patio with two chairs and a large sliding glass door. If I had one wish…. A really plush and comfy chair rather than the chair that was provided. Overall this is the place you go to relax, play golf if you want, and to simply enjoy life.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Ranch. They are a world class operator offering amazing service and beautifully maintained grounds. We have been able to enjoy all of the amenities and the attention to detail stands out over other properties. They know what they are doing to offer an exceptional experience. Will definitely be booking another stay in the future

Great hidden gem in Laguna. Beautiful surroundings, accommodations and service. Defintiely will be back on my next trip to explore more of the property offerings including golf. Great dining and quality of food. Thank you Ranch at Laguna team!

What a wonderful place, full of peace and serenity we just loved everything and it was so clean, the service was so impressive! I love this place 100% recommend such a special place we loved it! I would for sure plan on visiting the restaurant the food is exceptional and the service top notch! The streams and yoga were so amazing we loved this place so so much!

Everything was detailed in the comments on the previous page. I love the property but you have some issues that should be looked at and improved. To sum up, screens on sliding doors, availbel apps on TV, and check in charges chaotic. Please see those notes

We loved how close the Ranch was to the beach, but also so removed and secluded from the busyness of downtown. We stayed here for the Ohana music Festival and really enjoyed our time. Very comfortable beds and the showe had a lot of power too. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Decided to stay here after reading the reviews. One review stated that they loved it so much they decided to stay an extra night. If we could have stayed longer we would have. My husband and I planned our stay to celebrate our anniversary. They really made us feel special. The accommodations were fantastic and the resort is walking distance to the beach. Beautiful location. Cell service is not great being in the Canyon, but you can connect to WIFI and still use your phone. We will definitely stay here again .

Dated, not top notch property look. Housekeeping and maintenance not sparkly and well presented. showers need grab bars, rooms need a refresh.
