The Art Hotel

Let me start by saying that the service was great despite the fact that the premises need some major work as the finishing details are totally missing from the moment you walk through the door, to the rooms, to looking at the walls and ceilings throughout the property. You can see the vision and effort made to get there but it is immensely lacking. I had issues with the AC which was remedied by moving me to another room. The internet connection was very unstable. There were 2 roaches in my room (one of the dining table and the other between the closet and the coffee shelf) which shows that the room cleaning is not properly done and I am not even sure if they actually wash down the shower door, walls and floors. Some of the furniture and bathroom mirrors were rusty and dirty. The toilet paper hanger was dirty as well, just out right nasty. To close, the Art Hotel is definitely not a 5-star hotel AND does not compare to the level and standing of the Lagos Marriott Ikeja, AT ALL! if you are looking for close to 5-star, clean, top notch service, I recommend the Marriott Ikeja.

I was here on a Business stay for over 2 months and enjoyed every single day of my stay! It’s located in a serene environment of Lekki while also very close to the centre of Lagos Business district, I.e the Victoria Island. I am definitely going back at the next opportunity.

The hotel professional presented and meet all needs - business and short break. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious. The restaurant and food are fresh and tasteful. The Art Gallery is icing on the cake. Staff are very pleasant and responsive

I stayed a weekend in The Art Hotel. The rooms, the restaurant, the art gallery and the feel of the entire place is just amazing. Stylish, elegant and very comfortable. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. I can highly recommend this hotel !

The aesthetics are wonderful, lovely rooms but very disappointed with the service. It is really not a good venue to hold an event at all. Regardless of your negotiations and brief on the kind of event being held, the management will frustrate your plans and basically kill the mood of the event.

The Art hotel is such a lovely place to stay in Lagos. It is located in a prime spot in the city. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was just perfect. 100 percent recommend them.
