Boavista Golf & Spa - Bela Colina Village

Very confortable and safe hotel. Huge rooms. Very diversified and delicious breakfast. Unforgettable. Will be back again. Thank you very much for the welcoming. The view is amazing. Very quiet. Staff is very experienced. Tennis courts are in good conditions.

The whole family love this place. The amenities are great and there is loads to do. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. The only things i would change are the coffee (not great) and the booking system for the gym (and open at 7am).

Was here for a 2-week workation, business and leisure: Bela Colina Village. I enjoyed the express check-in that soothed my aching muscles from the long trip. Clean and well-serviced apartments with ample amenities including high speed internet, that make your stay a homely workation. You have access to the health club and the swimming pool. You can enjoy the sun’s tan from the comfort of your room balcony, with excellent views of the golf course and the touristic villages. You have a choice to eat from the restaurant, the Clubhouse or even order in. At the Clubhouse you have a very wide selection for meals and drinks. The resort is near Lagos town, and there are many beaches and cliff walk and tour sites accessible from the Resort. The staff are warm and responsive; if you need anything, just ask. A shuttle service is provided to get you around the resort. And if you want that golfing holiday, come prepared as they have a super fine manicured full course, and you can get to play with other golfers from across the globe. It was a beautiful season with excellent weather, and I couldn’t have enough of the goodies in this corner of Portugal. I enjoyed my stay, and would highly recommend this resort. It’s a place I would love to return to the calm, quiet, tranquil and immensely serene ambiance.

We stayed in a Premium Villa (number 48). Beautifully decorated with full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining room and living room plus two terraces. Pool area was delightful. Surrounding streets were immaculate. We had sunday lunch at the Clubhouse. Service was second to none. We unfortunately lost a set of our keys (on the beach we believe) and had to pay a 50 euro fine. Please be aware. My only minor small gripe is the both the televisions were very small and old. Had expected at least a 32inch at least. Tv channels were excellent. A resident cat came to visit us which was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Played Boa Vista on 6th October for first time. Really enjoyable layout with some very picturesque holes. Greens were in excellent condition, the best of the four courses we played that week (others being Palmares, Espiche and Vale da Pinta). Will definitely be returning to play Boa Vista.

A great course with some beautiful holes , greens are lovely the only negative is the bunkers are not great , luckily I only found one all day , the 6th hole is very special and the green is very tricky , I would recommend a buggy here as it’s quite a walk with some beautiful scenery

We initially booked a round of golf at BoaVista through AlgarveGolf.net. We received written confirmation from them that hire of clubs was € 35 each. As my husband and son were playing a 2 ball, I called BoaVista and queries if one set of clubs would be ok, and they confirmed yes. When my husband and son arrived yesterday, they had a very cold welcome - almost as though we were not welcome. My husband was charged € 40 for hire of clubs (as he was not aware of the initial price I had received) and also charged for hiring two sets of clubs (they were the last 2 ball to play the course). When querying this with Sendra and Sonya at the golf club earlier today, we were in essence told they they will not refund us the difference. When my husband asked about lunch options before the round, he was told go to the restaurant and wait 30 mins and maybe they can do something for you. He did not want to be late for the round so carried on. Fortunately a buggy came round and offered them so lunch. Although they enjoyed the golf, the staff appear to have a real chip on their shoulders and a real sense of arrogance. I have been over charged and they are shrugging their shoulders. Be warned - not a pleasant experience at all !

Booked a 6 wk stay at this resort with friends. Units are lovely, property is lovely and service has been great with respect to accommodations and on site restaurants. No complaints. Unfortunately, the golf experience has been disappointing. Absolutely no service whatsoever. Strictly self service, not because they don't have staff, they do....they just stand around. No one to greet/welcome you when you arrive. No one to help you unload clubs from car. You have to wade through lots of golf bags to get to the cart and load clubs yourself. They don't give towels, don't sell/provide water, don't tell you where you can get water. Don't have electric caddies (need to rent off site). Don't offer club storage for long stay guests. Annoying to have to lug golf clubs back and forth every day for golf. Proshop staff marginally better. Don't feel like a welcome guest, made to feel like a minor annoyance. Golf course has some pretty interesting holes albeit there are some conditioning issues with the course just now. The resort would have gotten a much better rating if the golf experience was improved. BTW - our group has golfed around the world - handicaps range between 9 - 15, so have lots of experience at private/public courses and what basic service levels should be.

The villa was immaculate and spacious. We stayed for a month and it is easily the most comfortable place that we have ever stayed at. The kitchen has everything including dishwasher and washing mc/drier. Rooms were large with ample storage.
