Albergo Diffuso Ca' Spiga

Ca' Spiga is a unique B&B which is very authentic Italy. The house was the owners grandmothers and has been preserved almost as she had it. If done wrong this place would be a strange place to stay, but alas Alessandro makes the stay an absolute treat and would 100% return to this accommodation! I would say this venue is best suited at Solo / Couples travelling. We chose this location as it was close to a venue we was attending for a wedding. The breakfast and the balcony to eat breakfast on is outstanding and you get a truely superb view of Lake Como. I wish to take the time to personally thank Alessandro and the team on making our trip special, they advised us on a little places we could go that we would of never gone to without their knowledge. I have one piece of feedback that could be addressed (but not worth knocking the rating down for) the first room we stayed in (located below the kitchen) needs a new mattress as the springs have broken on one side. I fell out of bed in the middle of the night! The second room we stayed in the matress was far too firm almost polar opposite to the other room! Invest in some high quality matress's and this is a superb unique experience! Do not hesitate to stay here! 5* Service, 5* View, 5* Friendliness, 5* Star Breakfast, 3* Facilities. Will be back.

This was our 7th stay at Ca Spiga since we discovered it 9 years ago. It is a charming family B&B overlooking the lake. The rooms are cosy and have stunning balcony views. We enjoy the breakfast each morning outside, a range of cheese, meats, eggs, pastries and the famous apple tart. There is a wine cellar and fridge full of drinks you can purchase. And a jacuzzi located downstairs but this time we didn’t have time to visit. Alessandro and the team are great hosts and the real reason we return each time.

Absolutely amazing!!! The owner Alessandro was exceptionally friendly, hospitable and helpful. Ca’spiga is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It’s very clean, homey and charming overlooking the most beautiful lake in the world. Also had the best breakfast made with fresh and local ingredients. Can’t wait to be back!!! Alessandro thank you so much for making our stay feel like home. You are a fantastic host!

When we said goodbye, see you next year in 2019 we never imagined it would be 2 years until we returned. So happy to be back at Ca Spiga with Alessandro being the perfect host. We stayed in Lavender room which had a balcony outside with incredible views. The B&B is authentic and charming, the breakfast on the balcony is incredible, particularly the home made apple tart. Since our last visit Alessandro and Andrea have crafted a jacuzzi in the cellar which is a welcomed addition and a wine cellar, where you can purchase wine. The location of the B&B is great and just a short walk are a couple of restaurants and Da Luciano the family store and cafe bar. If you are in Lake Como stay here it’s the best place I’ve stayed.

Die Besitzer Alessandro und Andrea haben das Wohnhaus der Großmutter zu einer Oase mit herrlichem Blick auf den Comer See umgebaut. Mit Liebe zum Detail! Und das Beeindruckende: Trotz Erhalt des alten Charmes gibt es keine feuchten Keller, nichts Angestaubtes. Vielmehr gibt es - neben den schönen Zimmern - einen Keller, der einem Museum ähnelt, mit herrlichem Weinkeller und tollem Jacuzzi. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet...

Es war eine schöne Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg nach Italien. So kann Urlaub beginnen: Sehr schöne ruhige Zimmer, liebevoll und stilvoll restauriertes Haus, Gastfreundschaft, tolles Frühstück. Mit tollem Blick auf den See aufwachen.
