Perfect Getaway Weekend
The cabin was great for a weekend getaway. The cabin was fully stocked and we enjoyed a nice, quiet stay at the cabin. We also explored the area with short drives to a supper club in East Dubuque and shopping in Galena. The place had everything we could want and we would definitely stay again!

Get Away Cabin

Lovely, well-cared for property
This is a lovely place to stay! This is one time I think the pictures don’t do the property justice. It’s a beautiful country setting, but close to so many towns and things to do. The cabin itself was very homey and everything was squeaky clean. As someone who usually does some cooking while on vacation, I appreciated the good quality kitchen tools. So often rental properties have a hodgepodge of items that were probably picked up at a garage sale or thrift store. It was nice to be able to cook with a nice set of pots/pans and decent knives. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love into the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing getaway
This cabin was a very comfortable, cozy and peaceful place in the country to sit back and relax after spending time visiting Galena and Dubuque. It was extremely clean and well stocked with anything we would need. Communications with the property owners was fast and easy. We highly recommend this cabin.

Hazel Green Cabin
Thank you for allowing us to bring the pets. It played a major role in the renting decision.
If i would change anything, I would reduce the size of the master bed or repostion it to give better access to both sides. The floor squeak next to the bed, became a joke about an alarm for the escaping partner. 😀. Thank you for a great stay. We will considered renting again.

Great short getaway
Beautiful, clean, cozy cabin. Secluded- but not far from larger towns. Easy distance from Galena, Dubuque. Had all the amenities listed. Responsive owner.
