Domaine Jolivent

Just returned from a fantastic get away at Domaine Jolivent. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Room was cozy, comfortable, updated and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Had breakfast at the terrace Mistral and the food was very good, service even better. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Domaine Jolivent is an oasis of comfort in the Eastern Townships. My husband and I wanted to take a short road trip through part of the Eastern Townships and had never been there before. We chose Domaine Jolivent on a friend's recommendation and it was perfect. One could basically just stay there for a totally relaxing weekend. The rooms are not large although very comfortable. The property is the gem. There is a large pool with lots of seating, water access to Lac Brome (a beautiful large lake) ,across the road, boat and bike rentals , a very large property with walking paths and an exquisite small private lake where one can sit in a variety of spots to relax and admire the natural landscape . Another gem is the outdoor Bistro where breakfast is served. One can also reserve for dinner in the evening. It is a very popular spot so absolutely recommend you reserve. The food is very good and the ambience is great. The attention to detail is significant and the whole place feels like a labor of love. The staff smile constantly and no request is too small or not dealt with immediately. We are definitely going back.

On Thursday September 7th, 2023, after a short drive my wife and I arrived in Quebec’s Eastern Townships at Domaine Jolivent. This country inn is situated at 667, Chemin de Bondville near Lac Brome. The property is conveniently located near the lake and provides for on-site nature hiking trails, an outdoor restaurant, a swimming pool, and marvelous flower gardens. For check-in, the friendly front desk staff welcomed us. Our reservation was done a few weeks before hand with a Travelzoo voucher for a Two-Night in a Classic Queen Room. Our assigned room was not available for the first night, so we were offered the larger Junior Suite, with fireplace, mini fridge and HDTV which was well taken. We reverted to the smaller Classic Queen Room, with no fridge and HDTV on the second night. During our stay, we had some relaxing time at the large outdoor pool with lounging chairs. During the second evening, it was raining but we still enjoyed a bistro-style meal in the colorful barn which is part of the on-site Accent Restaurant. Breakfast on the terrace was included with our room voucher, we did try it out and it was very good with great service. We would recommend Domaine Jolivent to family and friends and would rate our stay as four stars.

Nice quiet and clean hotel. Great territory with lake and amenities around, forest walking, lake Brome in short walk Great restaurant at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff . Overall, excellent getaway

We visited early week, so the main restaurant was closed. However the inn's setting is perfect for a relaxing time. Soothing music indoors and outdoors. Well located with on-site walking trails. The service was irreprochable. The only drawback is that rooms are quite small.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful. Our room was small but serviceable and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the al fresco dining. The breakfast excellent with great service. Coffee and tea are always available. The gourmet shop was a pleasant surprise. The attendant uncorked our wine and provided an ice bucket and wine glasses - much appreciated.

We were pleasantly welcomed by Elody at reception which was a great start to our getaway! She was so kind & went over all the details of our accommodation & amenities! All the staff at Auberge including servers, bar attendants, massage therapist & the owner were always smiling & attentive! Service always available in English or French. We enjoyed a great evening meal on the patio & the ambience was lovely with lighting & music. Took some kayaks out on Lac Brome ( hopefully they have the ladder in) which was a fun excursion! The Auberge sits on a large property & hiking trails are available. Lots of lounging chairs around to just sit & relax or read a book. We would recommend this Auberge & hope to return again. Merci! This is my third getaway at the Domaine Jolivent each time an excellent stay. The breakfasts are delicious whether served in the dining area or at the outdoor restaurant. It is a wonderful spot with walking trails beyond the pond on the property and a separate access to the lake nearby. The rooms are cozy, and I particularly enjoy staying in the junior suite. The staff are always helpful. I stayed here twice last summer, and really enjoyed the outdoor restaurant, which is a must! And the pool...it's really a bonus. Will definitely be going back! Enjoy!

The hotel Domaine Jolivent is charming and comfortable, and has beautiful grounds and walking paths. And absolutely gorgeous wallpaper. Breakfast was delicious. I had the crepes. The dining room is luxurious. I recommend Domaine Jolivent. Excellent restaurants nearby, too. The staff is helpful and efficient.
