Great location, really quiet and peaceful but most people on the resort can't speak English and cannot understand basic words when you order food.

Near airport, good location, beautiful resort beach front, resort restaurant is 24hrs, nice pool. The only downside is that the water pressure is a bit low, but that is very common on island hotels. Enjoyed my stay and will book again in the future.

Private beach, clear water. 2 swimming pool. Most of the Staff is ‘judging’

The hotel is dated but that in itself isn’t such a problem. The setting is nice , garden and pool is pretty. The beach is cleaner than Bali but still plenty of rubbish. The rooms are large and bed is comfortable. I booked for 4 nights but stayed only one as the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room to a sleeping temperature. Staff were great and as helpful as they could be but the air conditioning needs replacing asap.

Great stay in Sylvia resort with private beach.

Strategically located with a view, private beach and multiple pools. Resort nestled in its own mount Sylvia gave us option to either hike 15min for sunset view or enjoy sunset dinner by the beach restaurant with a good menu. Love the docking platform floating by the beach.

Lovely hotel with great view and awesome beach. Snorkeled at the beach on my first day and found many corals, fishes and even a striking blue starfish!

We stayed at Sylvia Hotel for the past week. The location is truly outstanding — one of the best you could ask for — and the staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel has great potential, and on first impression the representation is very appealing. That said, the property itself does feel like it has not had much investment or upkeep for quite some time. The rooms, while functional, showed signs of wear such as chipped wardrobe doors, tired paint, and limited attention to detail in cleaning. The landscaping could also benefit from more care, as it looked a little neglected. In the dining area, while the staff were pleasant, the service was not polished, and communication in English was limited. Training in table service seemed minimal, which meant the experience fell short of international expectations. Overall, the charm of the hotel lies in its unbeatable location and the friendliness of the team. For travelers who prioritize location over luxury or fine detail, it can still be a good base. With some improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and staff training, the property could really shine. Until then, it’s best to visit with modest expectations.

Want rest and relax for peaceful, this is the place. First the beach water was not clear, but next morning was very clear and can see fishes around. Only 1 restaurant near the beach, good service and food although the staffs are inexperience.

The staff at reception was amazing, very helpful and friendly. My problem was that everything was run down and nobody at the restaurant understood me or English. I had to report so many problems with the room I was staying it was not worth it. So I cancelled my booking and booked in somewhere else. Again the receptionists was extremely friendly and helpful and I appreciate them.
