Rifugio Lilla

Lorenzo, Erica and Samantha could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We traveled as a group of 14 which can be a challenge for a small hotel but were treated to excellent service. We were dropped to and from the ski centre each day ( not easy with so many bodies to move about) and offered lifts to other locations without hesitation. Food was amazing, great portion sizes, well prepared dishes and swift service. The team could t do enough for us and made us feel very spoiled.

If passion was something one can learn, this little and animal-friendly hotel would be a perfect place to teach it. As passion can't be faked, a group of friends who run this hotel truly know how to take care of every guest in a way he/she constantly feels at home, within "a family" ready to help if there's a need. If the local tourist office is closed (as it was when I went there), here you'll get an accurate information about the territory, snow-sports, hiking paths, nature, culture & history of La Valle. There are books and games for children in the welcoming restaurant and the kitchen of chef Mauro is simply excellent: short menu greatly balances nutritional ingredients a person needs in a meal, with preference for local products (fontina, salmon trout, home-made beef-toungue, pastries, a lot of vegetables...),all dishes we've tried were prepared and presented with great skills. The rule of "poco ma buono" applies to the wine-list, too, wines are rigorously selected among the best VdA can produce. For these reasons, I recomend this place together with its (very affordable) restaurant. A place to come back.

Stayed here for one week as two families for a skiing holiday. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and the apartment had everything we needed as a family. We were half board and they simply couldn't do enough for us, from the breakfast to the evening meal, everything was perfect. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it, my children ate so much steak (daisy), we could not have asked for more. Everything is home made and authentic, from the beautiful vegetable soup to the trout to the chicken, simply wonderful. The hosts are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can't wait to return, easy access to the slopes and the village, who could ask for more. A real find, thankyou Rifugio.

Ottimo B&B vicino agli impianti di La Thuile. Struttura ristrutturata e pulita, con accesso autonomo alle camere. Colazione dolce e salata molto buona (torte fatte in casa, biscotti, pane, prosciutto, uova, yogurt e frutta). Proprietari disponibili e simpatici!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti; struttura accogliente e pulita; ci è stata assegnata la mansarda che è un mini appartamento con possibilità di cucinare. Dotazione di base buona, con la semplicità dello "stile rifugio" che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Sala colazione e ristorante molto bella, con tutto il calore di una casa valdostana di montagna. Servizio ristorante a menù fisso dal lunedì al giovedì; finesettimana su richiesta. Struttura pet-friendly. Gestori gentilissimi e disponibili
