Quileute Oceanside Resort

We stayed in the hotel part that was just renovated. Here’s our experience. Clean large and comfortable bed. Issue: why would they have captain beds? You have to climb in using a step stool. I would think it might be a fall hazard. Just unnecessary and people may not be able to climb in. Don’t expect luxury. No internet or phone or TV. Towels were threadbare. Seriously…hanging threads and mats in bad shape too. Should be an easy fix. Saturday morning the little food hut wasn’t open. Pictures on the walls were randomly placed. That was the funniest part. I would have moved them if I had a screwdriver and nails. The pictures were very light weight and hung with drywall screws over kill. The picture in the bathroom was of a tool randomly placed too. Never did figure out what it was.

Holy smokes. 1) coffee shop on site--- she's awesome! Food and coffee awesome! Had gf food for me (egg bites) and didn't judge me once the amount of coffee I drank 😎 2)our room had no tv and no internet. Deal with it. You are literally looking at the most gorgeous ocean ever. If you expect it, don't. 3) bed was crazy comfy. Bathroom was clean! 4) accessibility to the beach was PRICELESS 5) being here was so perfect for my soul. We stayed in The Tbird motel, room 111. You walk in and see the ocean. King bed. It was great to have a small little fridge and range if you need one. I would stay here again and again. Loved the simplicity but appreciated the cleanliness and solitude. Check in was easy.

If you need a luxurious solitude do yourself a favor and come to the resort to enjoy luxurious cabins and incredible beauty of the ocean. I come here every year as my recharge time and connect with nature, soak in jacuzzi bath tub or just read by the fireplace. The staff is very friendly. Especially Jerry who always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and like a part of the family. 💜

An absolutely amazing location. A breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Nothing getting in your way to from being IN nature. Does a great job of spacing cabins from each other so you have your own space. Amazing oceanfront views from every cabin/room.

We have visited this resort twice. In 2023 we stayed in the motel. And we loved it. It had updates, great views, and a very comfortable stay. In 2024, the reservations happened so fast we ended up with a standard cabin. Cabins are nice but are in need of updates, especially kitchen appliances for the start. You notice these cabins didn’t have updates for a while but still are comfortable. So, a bit of remodeling would be nice. A lot of room to store your belongings. The beds were comfortable. We did ran into an issue when our toilet wasn’t working upon our arrival (10pm). We had to waif for next day for a couple people to show after a failed attempt around midnight. An employee tried fixing it on our first night but was unsuccessful. Also, note if modifications are made to your reservation you might encounter cancellation fees for each night, and the nights you keep might be prorated to a new rate even if booked one year in advance. Jerry was nice enough to waive the cancellation fees for two nights out of 8nights and respectfully kept our original rate due to the issues of not having a functioning toilet for a day and missing towels/toilet paper. We arrived at the time the tribe had a festival. So, it was busy. The tribe had fireworks and ran motorboats nearby. If you want a peaceful stay, come outside of the holiday. But if you want to be a part of their celebrations, check their calendar and ask for Quileute Days.

We made a reservation for the Oceanside resort through Hipcampmade in April. They had us schefule for different dates than in the confirmed reservation. That took a week and half to get sorted out. The actual place was not at Ceanside at all! They changed us to Riverview 6 miles away with no view or amenities and very cramped spots on gravel only lot. We got to out assigned spot and it was occupied! We had one space one night and moved to another the last two. This took away one of our days off exploring. Prior to coming I spoke with Jerry or Larry, the manager he was hard to work with saying Off changed oir reservation, didn't call back, and made no adjustments he said he would. Dorothy was able to get some of it sorted when we went back the 6 miles to Oceanside because someone was in our space. She arranged a partial refund. We spe to three other campers who had the same experience in reserving for Oceanside and being placed at their newly purchased Riverview (there is no view!). Bait and switch tactics! It's a shame because many people had good experiences with them before. They need to advertise them separately!
