Clara Vista Villas

The pluses: The complex is gated and the apartments are lovely, quiet, spacious, high-ceilinged, air-conditioned, and light-filled with interesting found-objects art and comfortable common-area furniture. There is an appealing infinity pool for relaxation and relief from the high humidity. The staff members were available and helpful. The quaint, charming town is a short walk down the beach and a slightly longer one down the road. It offers an abundance of cafes, restaurants, shops, and galleries. Townspeople are welcoming and friendly. The negatives: A luxury condo - which in many ways these are - would typically include a TV, microwave, and dishwasher. While these things certainly aren’t necessities, they should be included given the high lodging price. In addition, the extremely firm mattress made deep sleep a challenge, although some people do prefer hard mattresses. (Reportedly several other apartments had soft, thick, luxuriant pillow-top mattresses.) Overall the Clara Vista Villas are beautiful, comfortable, safe, quiet, and well-maintained.

I don’t normally leave reviews but Clara Vista Villas were so amazing I want to do so. The rooms are spacious and bright, each decorated slightly differently and very beautifully while st the same time fitting in totally with the culture. Unique art in each room. And the setting is just incredible from the infinity pool to the beach just past the gate. I could not improve on anything.

Everything about Clara Vista Villas is excellent. From the booking process aided by Miriam (thank you) to our reception, from Socorro, to the rest of the staff - Roberto, Kevin, Luis - all the best. The size of the unit is perfect. We traveled with our adult son. Two bed and two baths were perfect. The design and artwork are beautiful. The pool and location were absolutely perfect. Just on the edge of town so a little quieter (a bonus) and easy walk to all the restaurants, shops and pure joy that is La Manzanilla. We will be back.

Excellent condo with a fabulous pool and amazing sunsets.Condo units very comfortable and well maintained. So close to town and all the best beach restaurants. Could use more cushions for lounge chairs on the beach especially when all condos occupied and limited space around the pool.

Our stay here was amazing!! The staff was fantastic and helpful ........ there was a bit of a language barrier with the site host not speaking any english but we worked around that with hand gestures and Kevin at the bar and the grounds keepers spoke very good english and would help us when needed. The suite was clean and well maintained with everything you may need and the pool is amazing......Kevin at the bar makes a killer margarita. The WIFI is not the greatest and works intermittently so don't expect to vacation here and be able to work. Overall our experience was amazing and cant wait to come back next year.

Wonderful condo with beautiful location on the beach. So close to town yet quiet. Superb maintenance of grounds, pool and beach. Units were very comfortable. Requested and received a microwave and hair dryer . Miriam is terrific property manager and very responsive to all concerns. Only improvements is better wifi in the units and more longe chairs with pads especially when all units are occupied. Best place on the beach for sure.
