The appartment are nice, clean and comfortable. Stefanne has been very kind and helpful in everything. Their is no breakfast included so you neee to shop before in a local shop,which was not so convenient

We recently tied the knot on La Digue. We loved the island. The scenery is amazing, breathtaking views on all the beaches we visited. There was warm weather throughout our stay and a relaxed atmosphere. Cocotier is conveniently located and when we arrived we were wowed. The rooms were immaculate and the kitchen well equipped. Stefan managed to get us a tandem bike, for me, my husband and our daughter. I would recommend Cocotier to anyone travelling to La Digue. Both our hosts were so helpful, attentive and responsive to our needs. We will certainly be back for our fifth year marriage anniversary.

My husband and I stayed there for 12 nights over Christmas and New Year. I can truly say that if you in doubt whether or not to book this place - you must go for it. The service is absolutely amazing. The place is sooo clean and beautiful. The gardens are amazing. Stephane (who was running the place by himself) was so helpful - any query, any request was dealt with within minutes.Thank you!

We spent 3 nights in this place. The chalets are new, clean (daily cleaning), set in a lovely garden and very well maintained. The bathroom is big and has a wide shower area. Never had a problem with the water pressure and it was always hot. However we were a bit disappointed by the Landlady's behavior. Initially we requested the chalet for 7 nights via email and we paid the deposit of 200 Euro (which it was even more than the deposit requested). Once in Seychelles, as the weather was not so good (o lot of unexpected rain in this period that led also into some flooding in Mahe), as well as the forecast, we started thinking to change our trip plan. So, the very first day we arrived in La Digue we asked specifically to the LandLady if it was possible to reduce our stay from 7 to 3 nights. She nicely explained that it was possible but the daily rate would have been finally increased as she initially gave us a better rate based on a 7 days stay (80 Euro per night). Thus, she clearly specified that the rate would have been 95 Euro per day for the 3 days. We tought it was correct and based on her clear statement we changed our plan and flight. When we informed her on our final decision to stay there only for 3 nights, she was not so nice anymore and she said that we should have paid for two nights more (for a total of five nights) at the full price. Despite we let her noticed that she has never mentioned the extra nights before, finally we had to pay the full amount for 4 nights while she was mumbling something about the good weather we were having (after few seconds it started raining). I must admit that, despite La Digue is a beautiful place and the GH is nice, I left the island with a bitter taste in my mouth. So please, if you are staying there...just be sure of what she is stating.

We came back exactly 10 years after we first visited. And I am so glad we did. Cocotier Du Rocher is located in a tropical garden that makes you relax and enjoy from the first moment. We felt like coming back to old friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The location consists of small houses that are fully equipped for self-catering, complete with kitchen, a big fridge, and all you need. Traveling with two small children, sometimes the rooms in normal hotels feel a bit small when needing extra beds. Not here, we had a king-size and two normal beds for the kids, and the big veranda including two sunbeds is perfect for a family. The nice bathroom including a walk-in shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and an additional outdoor shower completed the beautiful and clean house we stayed in. The location on the island is actually a secret plus. Essentially, you can get everywhere on the West Coast within 15 minutes by bike. So getting around is easy and quick, but at the same time, you might want to avoid the day tourist stream that moves from the port down to Anse Source d'Argent and back. If you stay a couple of days on La Digue, you might want to go to Anse Severe for the sunset, down to Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Coco, or go up the hill to Nid d'Aigle or the Veuve Nature Reserve and other locations. Cocotier du Rocher is almost perfectly located to get quickly to all these locations. Finally, Stephan and his team are always helpful and provide tips and suggestions to further enjoy this dream island. Stephan and his team are part of the island's community, and we felt that more than once when we ran into some small unplanned things while exploring the island. When people asked us where we were staying, they went above and beyond immediately to help us. We can absolutely recommend it.
