We’ve actually been to Kovay Gardens twice. We were duped into buying a “fractional ownership” in January 2023 and returned for two weeks in 2024. The property is indeed beautiful and well appointed but don’t even think of buying into the property. When we purchased, we were strongly advised (pressured) by the sales staff to enroll with the resort’s marketing agency, Capital Marketing, who would pay us $2550 for each unused week we purchased. To date, they owe us $25,000 but we have not seen a penny. We have, over two years, corresponded repeatedly with both Kovay Gardens and Capital Marketing. Kovay Garden says Capital Marketing is a separate entity and they have nothing to do with them despite their high pressure sales techniques. Capital Marketing, on the other hand, has repeated said they have sent the funds they owe us by EFT and even provided, what we now know are fraudulent, transfer confirmation numbers on multiple occasions. So, if you want to stay at a beautiful location and can tolerate/ignore the ongoing criminal activity that goes on behind the scenes at Kovay Gardens, by all means go and enjoy your stay. Just don’t even think of going to a sales presentation!
