The hotel was clean, walking distance to the train station and bus stops. Washing dryer available (contactless and coins) Payment options.Room was clean and spacious enough for two people.

Comfort Hotel Kyoto offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel features a cozy buffet that serves delicious breakfast options, including traditional Japanese dishes. Location of the hotel is very close to city center which is very convenient! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto 👍🏼

like this hotel！ It’s clean and quiet, close to bus station and subway. you can get one free drink if you sign in their membership! You can also get free ice blocks to have a drink.

This is one of the best foreigner friendly hotel in Kyoto. We were greeted by a very warm staff and check in process was smooth as silk. Rooms are spacious according to the Japanese standards. Very clean and shining. All amenities are available in the room. We had a good night's sleep to get up fresh. Greeted by breakfast team to a wonderful breakfast. Our day of sight seeing in Kyoto was nice because of the hotel.

Great room, spacious and nice view (can see Kyoto Tower from the room). The only downside is the crowd during breakfast. We can hardly get a seat and have to eat in a rush to give seats to others afterward.

We arrived in the rain an hour before check in, the woman working reception told us our room was ready, but would cost us 1500yen more (for an hour!). This left a really negative first impression. Considering how much we’d paid already, out of principle we went back out into the rain for an hour instead. Location isn’t great. Overall the staff were friendly.

Good accommodation, Large room, Good breakfast, Good service & Excellent staff: I forgot the doll. I mailed to the hotel. The hotel staff sent it to me at Osaka.

Lovely hotel with a great breakfast. I was annoyed that they made us pay the city tax for 4 guests, even though there were only 3 of us.

Hotel was good location, staff are friendly helped me to get around the city, breakfast also was good and rooms were big enough, we had toddler so he enjoyed watching Netflix after exploring by the city

General area cleanliness is excellent. But toilets were not cleaned during our entire stay of 3nights. Location is good as frequent buses and taxi are available to reach Kyoto station at affordable price.

Clean room. Cleaned way more then I needed but I appreciated it. Nice rooms. And nice beds. Though the pillows weren't the best. Breakfast was nice though I wish they had plain bread.

Great location. 20 min walk from Kyoto station and streets are fairly easy to drag your suitcase on. Close to buses and within walking distance to several tourist spots. Super friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean but as always in Japan, quite small. Breaking is a bit busy but is works. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights in Kyoto and the hotel was as described as its name ~ comfort hotel. We checked in a little earlier but the receptionist is very helpful, seamless check-in process through the user friendly machine. Most importantly the staff was helpful and humble. The location is great. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and buses are the best transport mode in Kyoto. Kyoto station is also close (1.6km). Complementary breakfast and free coffee is a major plus.  Our room very comfy, spacious,  bright and clean. Another great point was that, the TV had YouTube, netflix options. On top of that, the room has a lot of USB charging ports, this is so convenient and must have in recent world.  There are 2 areas for improvements: the pillows are much thinner than the comforter on the bed. It would be good if each bed could be provided 2 pillows. Secondly, there arent many spots to hang clothes although lots of hangers given sufficiently.  I will definitely recommend it to my friends and families who coming to Kyoto.
