We are surprising this hotel is above our expectation. This hotel is a walking distance to Kyoto Station and bus station. Surrounding is a mall, restaurant and convenience stores. The entrance is grand and the hotel lobby is nice. The hotel staff is able to speak English fluently. The hotel provided coffee, tea and soft drink free of charge daily. All amenities such as toothbrush, comb, skin care, bath powder are placed in the room. The bed is comfortable come with 4 pillows. One great thing is toilet, shower and basin are separated. This is one of the best hotel that we ever stay in Japan. Definitely we will stay at this hotel again if revisit to Kyoto.

The room is not enough space for 2 people, but it is clean and new. The location is convenient too. Near the hotel, there are some convenience stores and donki. The staff are polite and provide free drinks at specific times.

Cosy and clean hotel with excellent location near Kyoto Station. Breakfast served is special bento box (with seasonal theme), along with semi-buffet. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Righa. Will recommend to friends and family.

This is the second time I have chosen to stay here. Overall, I am still impressed and think that I will choose to stay here again next time.

Located about a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station and local bus stops, so very easy to get around. A lot of restaurants/shopping centres nearby. Free tea/coffee provided during the day and evening. Room was compact but had what you needed for a few nights stay.

Best hotel of our Japan tour - exceeded our expectations in all aspects i.e. perfect location with 300m straight line from the station, very clean and modern rooms, after check out storage was excellent and breakfast absolutely brilliant.

We managed to score a room with a balcony and it was probably the most spacious room on our 3-week Asian travels. The hotel is clean and well-located, just south of Kyoto station, so easy to get around. The public bath is a nice option as well. We did not include breakfast, so cannot speak to that, but the free drinks in the lounge in the evening were a nice amenity after a day of sightseeing. There is some traffic noise from the street, but nothing too crazy for a large city.

One night stay , room size is appropriate with common bath available. Nearby kamogawa river and gion district by just walking

There is no car park available in this hotel. Room is small but clean.

Location was great, just 250m from Kyoto Station. And, with a Don Quixote along the way. Reception staff were well-spoken, attentive and quick to assist. What made Rihga Gran different from the 5 other hotels we stayed at this trip was the Guest Lounge, and the complimentary refreshments offered. Hot and cold beverages and local snacks are definitely welcome after long days out sightseeing.

A very decent stay with good room and good hygiene. The environment in general was spacious.

Location about 5 mins off the Kyoto main station. Room is bigger than standard Japanese ones. For the price I think it’s great value
