Upside: Clean. Quiet. Close to public transport. Nice decoration. Spacious room. Has a luggage rack for the suitcase. Power sockets on each side of the bed. Individual air con inside the room. Downside: Coin laundry is outside, next to the hotel. A bit of a hassle to use. Limited number of washing machines. The water tap in the bathroom is special. Probably better for auto filling the bath. Can't do a small flow.

5 mins walk from Kyoto Station, easy to walk, all flat. Amenities were provided at front desk, may take according to your own needs. Staffs generally speak English pretty fluent, no difficulties even if you don’t speak Japanese. Quite clean, spacious for two, good air ventilation, definitely worth the price. View is quite nice also I would say, one of the few tall buildings in the vicinity. Bathtub equipped USB charging spot provided

Stayed for a night for solo trip. I liked location a lot. Just about 5 min away from Kyoto station by walk. Staff members are really friendly and helpful with things I needed help with.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, good location near Kyoto Station (on foot). Room quite small, and the bathroom is quite tiny, until it is difficult to move. Japanese style breakfasts. All necessary accessories like toothbrush with toothpaste, cotton balls, ear cleaning sticks, body sponges, comb, mouthwash, disposable shaver, etc. are available at the reception.

Location a bit far from train station however can have choice to take bus , only 2 bus stop away . Have 2 family mart and 7 eleven around the area to dropby to get whatever things u need .

The room is spacious and clean. Roughly about 10mins walk from kyoto station. The front desk staff is very helpful.

Location was 10mins away from the kyoto stn. The room was as the picture and its clean. The front staff was friendly.

Great staying and amenities!! You need to take the train to go to some areas but it was 7 mins from Kyoto station and Kyoto station has a lot of places to see around too. I really recommend you all!!

Although the location is a bit further than expected, and the check in time is 4pm, the other offer and service kinda offset that. You are welcomed to put your luggage at the reception service upon arrival which is quite convenient as you don’t have to carry your backpack for the rest of the day walking up and down the slope of the nearby castles and old town. You can buy some hot bath salt pack at the reception to enjoy the hot bath inside the bathroom, it’s good to recharge your body and go for further sightseeing and walking for the next few days. The hotel provide traditional hot bath yukata clothes. The room is bigger than expected, unlike other “standard” Japanese room size, you can take this chance to repack your luggage and consider to buy more stuff in Osaka , haha. The accommodation cost is definitely worth for the overall experience.

Great location, walking distance to Kyoto Station. I will book again if I visit Kyoto next time.

Comfortable and affordable stay in Kyoto, everything was good with some minor exceptions: - the location is a bit far from the nearest station, 10mun walking - the noise from the hallway can be heard loudly Still, overall a big thumbs up.

The reception service is very poor, I don't feel very welcome here. Besides the hotel should pay more attention to cleaning the room, there are several long hairs left in the toilet, which cannot be mine.
