Such a lovely new hotel. Good and sincere service, especially for room service team and housekeeping team. Room facilities are user-friendly and pretty. Good location.
Would be more perfect if hotel can offer free parking.

I stayed on the 3rd day of the new opening.
There is no denying the lack of preparation
In particular, newcomer training, excective floor personnel.
About Invoices, credit cards
There is likely to be a need for re-education regarding the handling of the details.
The accommodation manager also reflected on this point
Excelent choice! The hotel is new.ñ (opened sept 2024) The rooms are very big. Confortable beds and amazing pillows, good service, excelent breakfast with too many options! The ubication is in a very good streat and there are restaurants all around. I will choose it again

Many hotels should take a note from this hotel. Absolutely wow on every single detail. Service outstanding. The staff is trained to the highest standards possible. Wherever you will go the absolutely smashed. Roms. Just wow Attention to detail to another level. The hotel is inspired from Kyoto history and surrounding houses. We had a great sleep and rest in this hotel Design of the hotel is stunning Sometimes you fill that you are in heaven. I could liven in this hotel. Thank you for having us

At Hilton Kyoto, on our check-out date, we left the hotel quite early for sightseeing and stored our luggage at the front desk. We returned around 2:45 p.m., tired from our day, and wanted to rest briefly in the executive lounge. However, the front desk staff refused us access, and when we escalated the matter, the front desk manager Tsutomu Sakata also declined our request. He informed us that access to the lounge is usually permitted until 3 p.m. on the check-out date. When I spoke to him, it was still 2:53 p.m., and I pointed out that, according to hotel policy, we still had 7 minutes left to access the lounge. Despite this, we were still denied entry. We only intended to stay for a few minutes before catching our train to Tokyo, not for an extended period. If a policy is meant to be strict, then it should be followed to the letter, without selective enforcement.

I travel a lot and I typically stay at 5 stars hotels, but this is certainly more like a 3 stars. When we checked in, it was white dust on the counter where the glasses were, dust on the fridge in the minibar, black hair on the sofa & a hair pin. The cleaning staff arrived to our room every day only late afternoon… i expect at least a morning cleaning service from a 5 stars hotel, if not 2 cleaning services per day (the morning and the evening one). They almost had 1 cleaning service per day. Almost … The hallways of the hotel stink - been here 3 days, they just stink. We had 3 consecutive reservations to cover for the period 10th- 23rd of October, but due to a family emergency had to cut it short and fly back out asap. We stayed 10-13th, managed to cancel through ******* 13-19th, but they had 0 understanding towards us to cancel our booking and refund thousands of dollars of our money for 19-23rd. I never left a hotel earlier, but when a family emergency happens, and I stay 10-13th, cancel 13-19th and ask for a refund for 19-23rd, I do expect some understanding from a hotel. The hotel reception staff ( Mr Cho Shigen) confirmed to us that there will be no penalty from Hilton side and he can cancel for us. So we went ahead and changed our flights, paid extra to change the flights, knowing we will get our refund from Hilton for 19-23rd as the reception staff, Mr Cho Shigen explained to us. Turns out, back office that he called cancelled our booking, yet perceived a 100% penalty fee - thousands of dollars. What for ?! Now he’s shrugging his shoulders saying: ups, I lied … 🤷♀️ and we’re minus almost $2000 because he lied to us. This is by far the most dishonest service I ever had, and I will never stay at a Hilton again. I don’t recommend Hilton Kyoto to anyone. Not clean, stinks, and staff communicates one thing and then proceeds to do something different with 0 accountability to the client.

I’m from America and I will say this hotel is amazing! From the staff to the room layout. I don’t know what the poor review was about but I’ll give it a 10 if I could. PS..I’ve stayed in 4 different Hilton since I’ve been in Japan. From Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya…
