Magical Pond Nature Igloos

1. Nothing to say about the beautiful view you get in the igloos but if you can’t appreciate it because the igloo next to you had the whole night the lights on -being empty-, the enjoyment is not given. Of course, I went to reception and instead of taking it into consideration, I needed to justified myself why I didn’t came at night to report it. 2. what’s already funny and takes me to my second point since the day we arrived, the 6th of January, the receptionist were not able to welcome us, or offer us any information or attention on the "snack bar"?! It was already dark and snowy, he barely explained how to reach the igloo and this with all our stuff in the hands, 3. since the areas were not cleaned up, I felt and hurt my knee, because I didn’t recognize the steps due the punch of snow. 4. I can just agree with the other comments, there is no space for luggage and the shower system is maybe not comfortable but is fine for the place. Problem was that the shower head wasn’t fixed, so the water spreat in all direction, reaching even the bath door. 5. Now to the most disappointing... I would advise to everyone that expects a romantic, nice Dinner, do NOT GO to the Restaurant. Everything there was a disaster. Paying 80 €/person for cold, pre-cooked meal, served from a guy that never worked on service and couldn´t even serve an apperitiv, first because he didnt know what it is and second, there had no offer for it. You can´t choose what you will eat and their also had no other Option than the fish we got. You have to pay in advance. Made my birthday Dinner to a not nice experience. Of course, I mentioned all points at my checkout and even though we didn’t touch half of the food and the igloo experience, there was no apology or any compensation. To my Remark about the Service, also connected to the poor breakfast (not even fruits), the receptionist told me that the whole Staff, just came from Albania a month ago and had no experiences. I really would like to talk with the owner... We are paying 700 €/night and the minimum of expectation, is feeling welcome, get a nice service in a safe place and at least get a decent Breakfast and Dinner, which was all not given. Btw. Personal cant talk finisch. Not even in Reception. Whats kind of strange, working in a Hotel in Finland.. Such a pity because that place has the potential to be magical…

We spent an amazing three nights here and absolutely loved everything about it. The igloos are compact but had everything we needed. It's so quiet and peaceful; everywhere was snow covered and looked beautiful. There are a total of 20 igloos all spread out, we were in one near facing the lake (frozen) and no one could see in to ours. Bed is super comfy, underfloor heating keeps them warm. Bathroom has underfloor heating too and dries quickly after a shower. There are snowshoes you can use free of charge too. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice. We had a 3 course dinner each night too (you have to pre-book) very fresh and tasty and plenty of it. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lammintupa activity centre is only a ten minute walk and they offer husky sled, reindeer sled, ice karting and other things. There is also a lovely cafe there. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Das "Iglu" hat 15 qm. Das ist (um es mit Loriot auszudrücken) übersichtlich. Es fühlt sich an wie ein MINI Wohnmobil. ABSOLUTE Ordnung ist gefragt. Das Erlebnis ist jedoch wunderbar. Wir hatten Iglu No. 1, was maximale Privacy zeigte. Niemand (wenn er/sie sich nicht durch den Wald kämpfte) könnte hier hereingucken. Wir konnten aber bei No. 2 und 3 ins Bett gucken. Da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, war es kein Problem. Der See, auf den wir gucken konnten, hatte einen Steg und "Magical Pont" stellte dort kostenlos ein Ruderboot und weitere Freizeitgegenstände zur Verfügung. Die Dame, die uns das Frühstück und die Sauna (im Haupthaus) bereitete, war sehr freundlich.

Leider müssen wir uns den negativen Kritiken anschließen. Preis-Leistung ist hier ein Fremdwort. Waren in Hütte 3. Hier gab es kein WLAN und man kann noch nicht einmal zwei kleine Koffer verstauen. Wie soll das im Winter laufen mit Schneekleidung? Auch der Werbefilm mit Kind ist utopisch. Wir hatten zu zweit gerade genug Platz. Das Handtuchproblem hatten wir ebenfalls. Waren noch 12h später feucht. 2 Nächte also auch zweimal mageres Frühstück. Genau wie schon beschrieben, einfach unverhältnismäßig. Das hat der Willkommensgruß (Piccolo) nicht ausgeglichen. Das Mobiliar in der "Lodge" erinnerte an eine Jugendherberge. Nicht auszudenken wenn alle 20 Kabinen gleichzeitig vor der Tür gestanden hätten. Die Sauna haben wir angeschaut, wurde uns aber nicht angeboten. Vermutlich zu teuer in der Nebensaison! Die Aussicht war auch im August wunderbar. Und am Lagerfeuer ist es wirklich toll, aber das rechtfertigt den Preis nicht. Die Fenster waren gesprungen und nicht isoliert, da musste die Klima die ganze Nacht laufen. Morgens waren unsere Koffer, die vor der Küchenzeile stehen mussten nass. Insgesamt eine tolle Idee, aber schlecht ausgeführt. Erinnert an eine "Werbe-Falle". Nur Ausschnitte sind beeindruckend.

Location da sogno! Personale gentilissimo e accogliente! L’interno della stanza accogliente, ben disposto anche se piccolo, riscaldamento a pavimento. Avendo richieste particolari di orari ci hanno offerto la colazione take away consegnandola in stanza, richiesta accolta anche per il senza glutine.

Un posto fantastico magico in mezzo alla Natura.. esperienza unica e staff gentile il ristorante veramente ottimo..colazione molto naturale gl'igloo sono spettacolari e puoi ammirare tutta la bellezza della natura finlandese...ve lo consiglio
