This is the second time I have stopped at Powder Tracks, with my first review in 2019 (Pre-Covid). On this occasion we stayed in apartment 11. The apartment was a two storey lofted one bedroom apartment. There was three of us stopping in the apartment on this occasion and while there was originally two of us stopping, our teenage son ended up staying on a futon on in the living area. We managed to get by however it was quite snug in there with three adults. There was a little kitchen with all the usual amenities, television, sofa and everything one could need. In the basement there is a secure drying room to store skis, boots and everything else which is a great feature, however I felt I was dicing with death every time I walked up the stairs with all my ski gear. This is close to the ski lifts in upper Hirafu and one of the cheaper alternatives compared to the Vale and Skye and worked well for us. I would recommend stopping here again. The only negatives is that some of the other persons stopping in the apartment appear to be smoking and seeing as we didn't smoke it's a bit of a put off when you can smell it in the communal hallways. There is also a smoking bin right outside the front door which is a bit off putting but they are only minor things because once you are in the apartments you can't hear anything and no-one bothered you. A mentioned I would stop here again.
