Very nice place with the bathhouse operating all night. There are shuttle bus services to Yubatake and to the Bus Terminal when checking out. Just that they speak almost no English at all, so do consider that.

Good. There are indoor & outdoor onsen. Buffet dinner and breakfast. The room is big and clean with a nice mountain view. We enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent stay! Hotel may be old but the facilities are up to date and clean. Service from staff is also generally good. 7mins walk to Sainokaiwara Park via the short cut. It’s a 15mins walk from Yubatake and you’ll need to walk up a slope to get to the hotel, may be strenuous for those with luggages. There’s a shuttle bus to and fro hotel to Yubatake every hourly, refer to photo. There’s even a shuttle bus to Takasaki train station, so ask the staff for details. Breakfast in hotel is excellent and very homely, overall enjoyed my stay here and will recommend friends to come!

Good place

Location - about 10min walk from the bus terminal at Kusatsu station. Walkable unless it's snowy or froze on the ground as part of the path is quite steep to walk up. Not hard to find as the town is quite close to everything. About 15min walk to yubatake for the famous onsen for pictures and local food and snacks. You can walk to the Sainokawara Onsen(open air public onsen) for about 8min which is located just behind the hotel itself. Service - they do provide transport to and from Yubatake with a specific timetable. They also have an open luggage area at the main hall if you area before check-in you could just leave the luggage and explore the town. They also have separate gender onsen with both indoor and outdoor facilities. They came around 7pm to my room to offer to set up my sleeping mattress. The dinner time was 6.45pm to 8pm and they may vary between seasons. You will be located in a seat in the dining room so don't worry about the crowd and having to fight for your seat. It's buffet style food and I read previous comments about food being cold. They aren't cold as it was heated around 60c ish but the moment food leaves the Bain Marie it will become cold especially during winter. Alcohol is included but you need to be 18 years old. They will start closing some stations including soft serve around 7.30pm so do get there earlier. Cleanliness - just an older building and maintenance pretty ok. You could tell from the design it's a bit outdated but it wasn't dirty or messy. Amenities - they have a Japanese sleep/bath robe at the main hall for guests to take if you need. There's no wifi in the room unfortunately and the only free wifi provided by the hotel is just located down at the main hall. I was given a Japanese style room which is pretty standard. It was on the 7th floor so it came with a pretty good view.

房間設施陳舊簡陋，沒有洗手液，沒有洗澡洗頭液，浴缸形同虛設，衹有一塊非常小的肥皂。室外温泉感覺沒有每天清洗，很多漂浮的青苔。唯一優勢就是有陽台，能看到遠處滑雪場，入住價格不貴，含早晚餐都是自助餐，品種多。

ホテルの場所については、湯畑からホテルまで車で送迎がありましたが、この情報は予約時には届いておらず、私たちは歩いて行ったのが少し残念でした。ホテルの露天風呂はとても良く、しかも湯畑とスキー場まで車で送迎してくれます。スキーの道具もホテルから借りることができ、安くて便利です。スキー場からホテルまでの便は、午後は1便しかないので、1時間に1便にしておくと便利です。

這洒店真的是舊了些，但係每日我們喜歡去大浴場浸溫泉♨️，這個是入住的主要原因，前台的服務員只會講日文，但是他們都盡力幫助我們的，感謝啦！

房間很大, 窗外有美麗的雪景還有露天溫泉, 但離湯田稍微有點遠, 周圍也沒有便利商店, 有接駁車到巴士總站但我搭的那天沒有準時發車...

가성비 최고입니다 지어진지 오래되어 오래된건 맞지만 가격과 위치를 생각하면 큰 불편함은 못느낄 정도입니다 창밖의 풍경도 최고입니다

春節期間住了兩晚。 優點：價格便宜，遇上日本的三連休，草津其他酒店都大幅漲價，這家的價格相對合理。景色佳，房間正對着草津滑雪場，視野非常開闊。有露天温泉，入住第一晚下雪了，遠眺滑雪場在雪中泡温泉很爽。酒店有很多台自動售賣機，很多選擇。有從酒店到湯田的shuttle bus，也算比較方便。暖氣非常充足。房間很大。可以從酒店步行到西河原公園、穿過天狗山就到草津滑雪場，酒店門口對面有間小屋可以租滑雪裝備，價格非常合理。 不足：酒店有些年頭了，硬件肯定沒有新酒店那麼好，房間是用鑰匙開的。離湯田有段距離。 注意：入住的時候前台會給你毛巾，泡完温泉記得留着。頁面介紹寫的入住時間很短，其實過了那個時間也可以辦理，前台是晚上9點左右下班，如果含餐就建議不要太遲。

温泉很臟 大浴場淋浴個別沒有熱水 餐食也很差勁 也不能説一無是處，唯一的酒便宜。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。
