stunning hotel, with very warm staff. we had a very pleasant stay.
breakfast, tea snacks and supper were complimentary and they even had a tea master for guests to do tea tasting. i was very impressed by the breakfast hours - 7am to 1PM!? 😱

Located a bit further from the old street so the area is fairly quiet! Just a 10mins drive to the old street which makes a really good 1-2 days stay if you want somewhere quiet to rest for the trip. If heading to Dali/Lijiang, this is about 10-15mins drive to the train station depending on the traffic.
Amenities are very good and service was exceptional. The service staffs were all extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. We even got help from the staff to order delivery for our supper.
There was also breakfast included which you can select from a handful of choices but the Guo Qiao Mian 过桥面 is the best and their popular local food.
Already missing the calm and serenity vibes of the hotel. Can’t wait to be back at Moonlight next time! 💜

Great location, walkable to Nanping road.
All staffs are friendly, clean and cosy room. I am impressed that breakfast is till 1pm if you are a late / no rush sleeper on a holiday.
Grill and hotpot just right under 1 min at night by the hotel too!
While they didn't offer laundry etc openly, you may try asking. I asked for the foot bath after walking the whole day, they can bring it to your room and you self service.
Slightly higher price than other hotels but this is very worth it! I would stay here again.
The best stay I booked across 4 hotels I booked travelling Yunnan. For China, please look at guests photos and not the hotel's own photos.
You may ask for their WeChat or chat on Trip.com they are very prompt with replies.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay!
This hotel truly deserves 6 stars! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with a lovely surprise that made me feel so special. The entire experience was beyond my expectations — the place is beautiful, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The staff were all incredibly helpful, kind, and always had a smile on their faces. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. I genuinely love this place and am already planning to come back again. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied. Staff were excellent and friendly. The food was awesome for breakfast. We had free laundry every day and there’s a dress up section in the hotel lobby where they allow us to wear it out of the premises to take pictures etc. these costumes were also washed after each outing which we witnessed so we were super impressed ! :)

Good service, very pretty hotel! I love all the details that highlight the traditional Chinese culture here. (From the architecture, DND option by hanging a metal plate outside, the cushion seat covers, even the shower head!, fresh flowers, etc).
Complimentary services like hanfu rental (wear and snap pictures on ur own), calligraphy, 5min walk to pickup/drop off point.
Other complimentary services include breakfast, tea time snack, and even supper! All easily available by scanning their QR code to request.
V prompt response from service staff too. Super recommended!! Will come again!

This boutique hotel really exceeds our expectations. Area is clean and neat, and location is near the train station, as well as lots of eateries and within walking distance from Nanping street. Service is superb, with breakfast, high tea snacks and supper included. Receptionist is really helpful and even prepared simple breakfast sets for my family to bring along while we catch our flight in the early morning.

Very satisfy! Hotel is clean , staffs are friendly and helpful. Was raining yesterday , the staff took umbrella to the drop off point. The hotel located not far from the food street. Hotel provided breakfast, tea set, night dessert and other needful. Free 汉服experience. The breakfast is more delicious than outside restaurant especially 过桥米线. 包和磊is friendly.

This hotel is outstanding. The old style building is located in the heart of the city, interior design and architecture are delightfull. Staff is always friendly and available, and rooms are silent and perfect. I will come back for sure if i can. Also there are a lot of free amenities, even if everything is wrapped in plastic bags, maybe should be considered an eco-friendly alternative. Over all, a five stars experience.
