Very good hotel. Spacious rooms. excellent breakfast and great service from the team at the lobby (who also spoke very good English).

not very good choice, because of too close to the university, the outside enviroment is not nood, never choose it again.

Lots of cheap and delicious eateries nearby since the hotel is located in the university district. Hotel also provides shuttle service to and fro Kunming South Railway Station every 15mins.
Food is buffet-style and has quite a wide variety. Room was clean and spacious as well.
Only qualm was that hotel was not able to help us arrange for transport to the airport (at our own expense), nor did they offer any alternatives/options, and we had to figure this out ourselves.

Good hotel, lots to eat around the hotel however felt the hotel was a little tired in places and need a refurbishment especially the lobby area and around the elevator area

We arrived after 9:00 pm. All the staffs were pretty friendly and helped us check in fast. Tiana and Lena were helpful. The breakfast was great. Will

Go around the corner from the hotel best street food we ever had have lived right across Asia for 20 + years there is a guy making hand made chili noodles to die for

Convenient location if you're using the station.
Quiet, comfy room.
Nice touch that you receive a bag of snacks on arrival and, if you're leaving early in the morning as I was, a little bag of fruit and pastries.
I don't speak Chinese, and the staff don't speak English, so it's hard work doing everything via translate apps.
It says it has a restaurant, but it actually only provides breakfast. There are lots of little restaurants and convenience stores beside the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast has many choices, including zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival and rose cakes from reception as a lovely gift. It is less than 2 km from the Kunming South train station, and they offer a free shuttle to send us back to the train the following day.
