 I checked in at 16:00 with a staff lady named 屁屁倩. I had booked a total of 3 rooms in advance, but was informed that only 1 room was available at that time. The other 2 rooms would take approximately one hour later. Since I needed to rest, I made a strong request for an additional room, and was then given a second room. I was told the remaining room would be provided later about one hour later and she would inform me via WeChat once it’s ready.
During checking-in, However, the staff handed me the key card without giving any information—no explanation about breakfast time or other important details I should have been informed of at check-in.
I waited for another hour, texting her but no response. So I went down to her at the front and only then was I finally given the third room I had booked. I was kind of upset about the service of the staff I had received which was totally opposite to above reviews.
Other than that, I must say the hotel is in a very good location, near to every thing from Jinmabiji arch, old street, eateries, Nanping street and metro. The room was very comfortable, clean, nice aroma of amenities, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was the highlight, didn’t expect to be served with very delicious roasted duck with crispy skin. Night time porridge with salty egg was also a nice touch for me. If the hotel can improve the service of the staff I previously mentioned, I would give 5 stars to my review.
