Great experience and good stay with the hotel. Connection with the mall accessible for rainy days. Kevin wan and Nano Lan also helped us greatly with our stay at the hotel. Would love to stay here again

New and well designed hotel. Breakfast was normal with a few interesting local dishes. Not worth if you are paying the full price for it. The hotel has a link way to a mall which has food options and supermarket. 德和 canned food outlet is in the mall so you can shop there easily. There is also a 上山喝茶 outlet behind the hotel. Overall a wonderful hotel at SGD222/night with Trip Stay Voucher

The hotel is new, the location is strategically inside the city and it is very convenient to explore the surroundings. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service from the concierge staff “Bianca” and “Nancy”. They were not only friendly and helpful but also proactive in ensuring everything was perfect. I especially appreciated how they consistently followed up to make sure our needs were met. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers.

Really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hyatt Kunming, and the room looks luxurious, very clean comfy bed and room, and we were given a nice welcome plate of grapes on our arrival. But I felt the pillows could be more comfortable as it was quite thin. The staff at Grand Hyatt were also very nice and prompt in their service. When we rang the room service, the staff were very fast in meeting our requests. From the front service desk, to the bellman, and the staffs that delivered water to our room, they were all very polite and helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. A special shoutout to Nancy at the front desk for her great, friendly attitude, and going above and beyond in her service during our stay. Will definitely recommend Grand Hyatt Kunming!

An excellent hotel, centrally located with ready access to good food, shopping and sight seeing area. Restaurant staffs are exceptionally attentive to our dietary preferences and gave good suggestions. Roast duck, pine cone fish and in season hairy crab is a must try. Breakfast buffet gives a colorful and satisfying selection of local and international fare. A lovely way to round up or Yunan family trip.

Grand Hyatt is strategically located in Kunming city, it has an underground access to metro and a walk link to shopping mall. The room is spacious and toilet is well designed. In-house movies and tv channels are plenty to choose. The hotel’s facilities such as indoor pool, gym and steam room are clean and usable. Price is a bit high, as our room does not cover breakfast. Suggestion:- - provide some Chinese tea bag - if room was booked with kids, pre-prepared extra towel and toiletries will leave a personalised impression to hotel guests - liaison with shopping mall not to close the gateway to hotel access link too early when the mall is closing at the end of day, otherwise hotel shoppers have to walk around big round the building to return.

Grand Hyatt, Kunming is very new about 3months old. The room is spacious and has fantastic showers and bath tub. Lighting is slightly on the dimmer. The hotel is connected to a swanky high end mall on the 3rd floor (10am to 10pm). Very convenient access. Superb service from the front desk to the Chinese restaurant. We wish to thank Bianca for her promptness in addressing our needs and questions relating to the hotel and Kunming highlights. Amy from the Yun Xiang Restaurant is also very helpful.

Very nice experience . Great room , service exceptionnel ! They speak English, a mention for Rocky in the restaurant and also for Alina at the reception . They have me a late check out, the food is delicious , the Gym is very big also the pool and I had a great massage . And for shopping there is a direct way to a large mall !

We had a pleasant stay at the Grand Hyatt Kunming, with highlights including top-notch customer service, impeccably clean and modern rooms, and very comfortable beds. The hotel’s amenities were first-rate, and the location was perfect, being connected to a shopping mall. A special mention goes to the General Manager, Walter, for his personalized care of our family—this really made a difference. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Kunming delivers on comfort and service. We will be happy to stay here again next time.

Hotel here is brand new and deco is classy. Connected to an upscale mall. Special thanks to Taylor, lidio, Emily, nico and Nola for a smooth check in and a lovely stay. Breakfast was great and they were so kind to extend our check out due to our flight delay !

A great hotel next to the metro. The staff were friendly, especially to my small son. The breakfasts were very good, especially the bacon (says my son), though there could have been a bit more choice. Hotel room was clean and modern.

My definition of luxury, this brand new hotel strikes the perfect balance of elegance and simplicity as art deco style. Bath Rooms are tastefully decorated with all the high quality amenities. You'd come to expect from a 5+ star hotel including automatic black out curtains and one touch lighting control. The restaurant/breakfast area was outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best I experienced with a selection not found in any other 5 star hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. From the moment we booked the room we were greeted with the most friendly staff. Emily and Wan (in the Front desk/Concierge ) gave us a smooth check in, and provided us with a great dining guide that we wanted to explore. They are exceptional! I would highly recommend and will definitely go back for these stellar services and amenities.
