Haiwei International Resort Hotel

We had an amazing stay here at the Haiwei International Resort Hotel. We came to Kunming on a business trip and our colleagues also had an amazing time here at the hotel. The lobby was well kept, the building felt it was recently built. The facilities includes a swimming pool, gym, and a scenic backyard for you to enjoy a glass of beer or tea. The breakfast selection was also quite nice with locally inspired menus. They even had a noodle bar that served Yunnan rice noodles. The hotel is within a 5 minute walking distance to the folk village containing local ethnic Yunnan cultures. It is also by the Dian lake which is also within a 30 minute walking distance, and there's a cable car that you can take to the top of the mountains. Overall the front desk management was exceptional as well, we were helped out by a kind lady named 小琪 who helped us check into rooms on the same floor with the same city views. We initially booked rooms with small twin beds as they were the cheapest option, but we were upgraded to queen sized rooms for free upon arrival. I would recommend this hotel if you are coming for travel or business.

This hotel was our first stop for a two week trip in Yunnan, we couldn’t have wished for a better start of our holiday. The rooms are clean and spacious and the view on the garden is beautiful. We can recommend the restaurant as well, especially the famous ‘over the bridge noodles’. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the bar 😬. Thanks for the great service!

Room is modern, comfortable with good view. Hotel is about only 300m from Ethnic Village. However, service is far from good - no smile, no thank you from frontdesk all the way to restaurant staff. Ordered a cake and a drink; the cake came but still no drink after 30mins even though it was not crowded, the restaurant also didnt serve tea/water automatically - not service oriented & meticulous. Hotel is called "国际”，but the service standard is definitely not "国际‘.’

房間沖涼的水温度時熱時冷不穩定，容易着涼；衞生細節不到位；攜程圖片上看起來是蠻不錯，到了實體店感覺非常一般一般，價格400多；酒店標識不清楚，前台在二樓，因此綜合起來不值得推薦。建議去的人可以選擇市內的更多的其它酒店。

入住酒店三天，沒有一天是休息好的，晚上很吵；洗衣房理的烘乾機衣服根本烘不幹，服務員説就是這樣子的，沒辦法改變；餐飲那邊給出的菜單，很多都是下架的菜，點啥沒啥；進入酒店一路都是石子下坡路，正常人走都很費勁，何況腿腳不便的長者，感覺走出酒店大門或者走近酒店大堂都要少半條命；退房時前台還要好評，沒給好評就一直追着，不停發訊息要好評；房間床鋪非常濕冷，睡了三天，腰都直不起來，以後都不會選擇這個酒店了，這次算是踩雷了
