Spice Village Thekkady - a CGH Earth Experience

I stayed in Spice Village for one night An incredible beautiful hotel made with natural materials I stayed in a large room in the extensive grounds of the hotel. Very comfortable beds. I felt I was getting an authentic experience. In the evening we ate a buffet dinner with a huge choice of dishes. Service was lovely.

A wonderful hotel giving a great experience. The cottages were very comfortable. Food was amazing. The staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of wonderful experiences. My birthday was the day we left the hotel and I was made to feel like Royalty! A truly amazing place

Excellent and friendly service from staff. Lovely clean rooms Lots of activities and well positioned to explore the surrounding area. I did the paper marking - i had always wanted to try this and Ashley and his staff were so helpful. Bar was cosy and food was delicious

I just had the pleasure to stay 2 nights in that fabulous hotel. Everything was perfect from the staff to the meals to the quality of accommodation. This is not a super deluxe hotel but it has everything you need. They don’t have air condition but they don’t really need it. This hotel is extremely environmental friendly. Breakfast lunch and dinner was a buffet but changing items every day. They also have an a la cart menu if you need. I did some excursions out of the hotel, which was very nice. I had a 2 hour Ayurvedic massage which was fabulous and reasonable. I can only recommend that hotel.

The hotel is in a very location which is very quiet and calm. The staff is very nice and welcoming. My wife's birthday was on the day of check out and their team were very kind to help us celebrate with a cake. The housekeeping staff left a very nice note wishing her happy birthday on a handmade paper at the resort. We had a great time and there were many complimentary activities at the resort. We will definitely visit the place again. Thank you team Spice Village!

It was our second time me and my wife visited CGH Spice Garden. The property is unique in the way it is built and functions. Most of the items in cottages are homemade, from drinking water to paper, all eco friendly also. One can find these surprises as they go through the stay. The ambience and peace is what attracted us to this property. The cottages are well maintained, with lots of birds chirping and squirrels running around. Misty climate, ***** with beautiful gardens to walk in. The bar here has a lot of history inside as old photos, and artifacts. The staff here are simply nice and ready to assist. The best place in Thekkady, and I think the only place there, where you can hide from the bustling and busy life we all are used to nowadays. They have many activities they organize that can be opted. We will be visiting it again after some time.  Cottages: 10/10 Neatness: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Bar and food: 10/10 Activities: 10/10
