Four Villages Inn

Beautiful property, beautiful room, very down-to-earth and hospitable hosts. Did two great tours: one of Kumasi with Comfort, arranged through Frank, and the other to the craft villages with Frank. Learned a lot about the country and area with both of them. Got to have Sunday lunch with the family too! Price very fair, no complaints.

This was my first time staying at 4 Villages but in the past had picked up colleauges from the property. It was a lovely stay! I told the owner that the shower I had on my first morning there was the best I ever had in West Africa! On certain days I had to be out early attending to work meetings and breakfast was always ready for when I needed it to be. Very comfortable and clean rooms and much more charming than staying at a hotel! Bonus is one of the dogs on the property is the offical greeter!

During a three week tour of west Africa this was the best hotel I stayed in outside of Accra. It’s a splendid large home. My room was very big and decorated beautifully. It is much like an American B&B and the breakfast was exceptionally good. Highly recommended!

It's 20 years since I first stayed with Chris and Charity in this little gem of a guesthouse. Now run by their son Frank it has lost none of its substantial charm. The high standards of care, the warmth and attention to detail shown by Frank and his team are a credit to the family name and I cannot recommend Four Villages Inn highly enough to anyone wanting a uniquely Ashanti experience with all the comforts of home and a lot more besides! And do take a tour of the market with Comfort, her knowledge and network of friends will give you access to anything at all you want to buy along with a wealth of knowledge of all.things Kumasi, even as it changes and evolves with massive new market development projects she is just as happy, smiling and wonderful as she was 20 years ago exactly!

We chose to stay here several days as we visited Kumase for the third time, but the first in over 30 years. We couldn't have chosen better. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, including a reasonably priced minibar. The free breakfast each morning was a delight. The owner, Frank, is a knowledgeable source for Kumase and Asante in general with lots of personal experience.

It is a very cozy hotel. Frank the host is very helpful for question and. with the excellent breakfast. The room we had is spacious and tastefully decorated. The only drawback is that there is no shower and you have to shower while sitting in the bathtub.
