It actually surpassed our expectations. It is not something like high end resorts, but it has a heart. Anant is the caretaker who will meticulously check for every detail especially about food. Food is authentic kerala cuisines with authentic spices. The location is beautiful.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting saro.

nice place for a quiet stay by the banks of kumarakom backwaters.it would be nice if you could go with family as there are only four rooms and it could be occupied by the same group of people. rooms are spacious with a good clean toilet. food is also good with inhouse kitchen and a nice cook. as its literally on the banks you could enjoy the backwaters. no pool, but if you know swimming can explore the backwaters itself as the water height is about 5 ft for about 5mtrs near the banks. in house activities could have been better as its a small property with limited space for any exploration. its also very near to house boat jetty, bird sanctuary and main roads.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Good service from staff and very friendly behaviour. Food was also good. All in all a great stay.

It's wonderful place for those who enjoy calm and peace. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The lake view from our room was excellent.

This is a small property right on the banks of the Kumarakom backwaters. Very clean rooms and clean well maintained property. The location is perfect. All you can hear is birds chirping and water splashing on the banks of the resort. The food is great and the staff is very prompt. In short, a lovely experience. Loved this place. If you would like to have a shikara ride on the backwaters - you can contact Akhil Shikara Boat Services (mob no. 9895049051) - very good service, great behavior and above all clean and well maintained boat.

the resort (more appropriate to call as a homestay with 4 ac rooms) is located just next to the lake. facilities and breakfast options are very limited, while rooms are neat and clean but not spacious. its a bit overpriced. and breakfast. taken together, i am happy with our stay.
