Very good corner room with good bathroom facilities and two luggage racks instead of just one. Good view and water heater. Great lobby and bar vibes.

Despite the name, it is not a new hotel. The hotel has undergone renovation, but it still retains a bit of an 80's vibe (e.g. a bar/lounge in the lobby with live music in the evening and metal keys to access the rooms). The breakfast buffet offers good quality and a wide selection. The room is clean with run-of-the-mill, utilitarian furniture and furnishings. There is free VOD. Hotel policy stipulates that the room will be cleaned every 3 days. Otherwise, there is a charge of JP¥ 1,000 for bed makeup & room cleaning. There is no charge for garbage collection, towel replacement. The bus stop for the airport limousine is literally outside the front entrance. The hotel is also conveniently located near the JR Kumamoto Station, streetcar stop and Amu Plaza Mall (a 2-min walk). Hence, there are a lot of dining, shopping and transportation options.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 200-meter walk from the exit near Starbucks at Kumamoto Station, 100 meters from the tram station, and only 20 meters from the bus station to Mojiko. If you arrive before check-in or need to store luggage after check-out, the hotel provides convenient luggage storage. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The hotel interior, style and furniture and equipment are old, it still retains a bit of an 80’s vibe. Overall the room is clear and tidy and staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is next to Kumamoto station, bus stop and tram stop and it’s easy to take the tram to the city.

The location to local places of interest is just right. You have an option to use the tram or walk to these places. Transfer to and from the airport was easy with the bus stop just a 3 minute walk away. The breakfast choices were more.than enough. They do not serve fruit juice though. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy.
