The Theater Hotel Kuching was a pretty solid choice for my business trip. I loved the keyless entry – no fumbling for cards at the door after a long flight! Check-in was a breeze, and the room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to get work done and recharge. The only downside? There was a big event happening in their hall one night, and the music definitely carried. If you're a light sleeper, maybe request a room further away. But overall, a good option for a quick business trip, especially if you value convenience and a modern vibe.

Room is very cozy, new and clean. But if you got a room facing the road, you might get disturbed with loud car or motorcycle, sometimes at 2PM. Even if there is a storm you will hear the thunder very loud.

The hotel is still new and i really love their security system.. the staff is good and their food are really delicious!

this is my genuine review. Location is superb, very near to city center, roughly about 5 mins grab ride (which usually costs about RM4.50-6). Hotel is relatively new so cleanliness is a 10/10. I got a room at level 5, hence i did not experience any noise that disrupted my sleep except honking from vehicles on the road. Do note that the hotel enforces strict rules but imo its reasonable of them to have such rules. Example are no stains to be spotted on bedsheets, else rm50 will be charged. I also like how they use smart technology here. Keyless entry to rooms, and no need to trouble yrself to call the receptionist like many other hotels. They communicate via whatsapp & i have to say their response is quite fast. I asked for an extra towel before and not long after a staff knocked to pass me one. Only thing i would suggest to improve is to not have many staffs lingering around the room for too long. Idk why eveey morning, afternoon, evening and even night, i see the housekeeping staffs outside hahaha. Also do note that there isnt any gym (i think!) and for muslim travellers, the restaurant below serves alcohol but is claimed to serve ‘halal’ food (this is common there). So if you’re like me who takes this seriously and prefer to dine at legitimately halal restaurants, do take note on this. However, there is Anuar Steamboat located about 8 minutes walk from the hotel. do try that out. Overall, i would definitely come back. Reasonably priced, great location, good cleanliness, responsive.

The location is quite good, 10 mins walk to waterfront. The famous restaurant, lepau and choonchin is only 4 mins walk away. The bedsheet is not that clean, some dirt/ bloodstain is noted. Overall, the room itself is clean. Toiletries and hairdryer are provided.

Pretty good. Hotel car park is available at no cost. Booked a twin bed room with view, overall clean and space is enough for use. Room is bright and water pressure is good for shower. Ok for 2 nights stay.

It is a new refurbished hotel. The room is not so spacious but has a nice and simple but modern design. Not very near to the Kuching Waterfront (1km approx).

New and clean place, towels and bed was made everyday. However on the last day, unfortunately we didn’t get a towel change. Other than that, good experience. Recommend to use the app for access instead of keying in the PIN

Overall breakfast is good. Jz that suis point to off light better have a central one to share. Cause only 1 side is not convenient at all.

Basically, everything is just fine. However, I think it is a little bit overpriced and for me, not worth it. I booked a Junior Suite room but unfortunately, the room looked like the same with other room except for the bathtub the put in the middle of the room. That is all.

The team was welcoming. Overall, it's quite pleasant but the sound insulation could use improvement.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Room is super big. With a bath tub in the middle. Clean bed,floors and bathroom. Suitable for family. I had a pleasant stay here. Buffets available. Easy to find restaurants and not far from the main attractions. Only 2 things to comment. 1. The sound from the ballroom is quite loud at night. ( Very loud bass, I can say ) 2. Location is a bit into a place where pubs and nigtclubs are.

High technology door using the apps to unlock the the Door new experience and the place is clean and comfortable.
