I recently stayed at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur and had a mix of positive and less favourable experiences. On the bright side, the service was excellent; despite a long line at checkout, the staff was attentive and even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited, which was a nice touch.
The hotel’s swimming pool is a standout feature—it's massive with a stunning view, perfect for a relaxing day by the water.
However, the room itself fell short in a few areas. The interior feels a bit outdated, with noticeable wear. There were cracks in the bathroom tiles, and unfortunately, the toilet got stuck and wouldn’t flush, which was inconvenient. Additionally, some design aspects were frustrating. The window blinds had a large gap between the frame and the rolling sunblind, allowing sunlight to filter through in the early morning, which woke me up. The bathroom blind also aligns directly opposite the bed, letting in more light than I would have liked.
Overall, while I appreciated the excellent service and the lovely pool, the room’s condition and design could benefit from an update to ensure a more comfortable stay.
