JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Nice hotel and convenience to shopping mall. The staff is helpful especially during my baggage drop into the car when departure from hotel.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We were very kindly given a free upgrade to one of their very large one bedroom apartments on the second floor. It was beautifully arranged with two large TV's, lounge and a super comfortable king size bed. All of the staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide choice of delicious Malaysian and Western food. This hotel is situated directly across the road from the Pavilion, one of KL's best shopping centres. Thank you Marriott. We will definitely be staying with you again.

Great for family and easy to get grab to go train station and airport. Many eateries around and good location.

Photos by the establishments depict room interiors and the Exec Lounge quite accurately. Breakfast spread came in a wide variety of dishes, but be warned that Shook fills up very quickly during peak time-slots (guests had to queue up for a table!). Despite the staff's attempt to organize the crowd better by assigning specific tables to guests, another hotel guest took my table while I was walking around the food stations. Perhaps an unmistakable "RESERVED"/"TAKEN"/"I HAVE LEFT" sign will be helpful. While the Shook team is working hard to clear tables quickly (the queue at the entrance is lengthening), I notice they were often looking at tables with food remnants, wondering if the guests have left or are the guests still wandering around the food stations taking more food. Guests who had lounge access can also choose to have their breakfast at the Exec Lounge, but I was informed by the lounge staff that the variety of the dishes will not be the full extent of those available at Shook. For the guestroom's TV, I was taken aback to find that a hotel of JW Marriott's stature offers only 14 channels for viewing, of which, 5 international channels were unviewable. I tried to clarify with the hotel staff on this, and they sent a technician over to take a look. The first technician told me this is simply how the hotel set it to be, but later he summoned his supervisor, who fixed a loose cable connection and revived access to the international channels. The supervisor maintained apologetically that the number of TV channels are indeed limited to these, but thoughtfully suggested I can access Youtube on the TV for more content. Not a big issue but all three technicians who entered my guestroom didn't think to remove their boots when walking around the carpeted area... even though I have removed my footwear. :(

Was expecting a better experience but overall it was a good trip. Few things that was not really up to expectations - no welcome drinks - amenities in bathroom inside the room was pretty normal for a club floor - no water dispenser or water bottles at club lounge On the other hand, cocktails session at club Lounge was enjoyable, food spread was really good for cocktails session. For bfast perhaps could join the buffet side …

All hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. They responded our needs promptly. Because the location is so excellent, the traffic jam is very severe. We needed to wait for 10 minutes in the car just for few steps to arrive in the main entrance of the Hotel. All linen and bed sheets look new and very clean. The only improvement that should be made is the "occupied" stand while the table is occupied. Because there is no such similar notice to other customers, when you and your friends all went to take food, the table would be occupied by other customers. It seemed a common phenomenon, especially in the rush hours, someone would sit down for the occupied table. I have experienced once, and I asked the hotel staff to resolve the problem for us.

Best Hotel in Bukit Bintang. Very near walk to Pavilion. Just Parking Car and walk out easy.

The staff were warm and friendly. Buffet spread were amazing with bountiful local spread from malay, chinese and indian cuisine.
