This was not an arbitrary charge but a standard procedure based on industry practice and our stated policy.Regarding Security and SurveillanceWe understand your wish to check surveillance footage to verify whether another guest may have taken the towel. However, please note that as an independent homestay operator, we do not have access to the building’s security cameras. If necessary, you may contact the property management or relevant local authorities, and we are happy to assist where possible.Regarding the Door and Cleaning ServiceWe did not provide any in-stay cleaning services during your reservation, and our staff did not enter your room at any time. As for your mention of the door being left open, we have found no records to support this, nor did we receive any real-time report from you during the stay.
