Unable to give zero stars otherwise would. Our family of four had a fully paid "guaranteed" reservation, at the penthouse of this property nonetheless, at least 5 months prior to a spring break trip. 3 weeks before a much anticipated vacation we received an email informing us the reservation is not valid any longer, with some ridiculous explanation (computer glitch?!, really people?.. it is 2024). Further attempts to contact the management/staff led to more outrageous explanations (oil leak in the ocean, etc). To add insult to injury a "similar" property was offered instead, which was not even oceanfront and valued at about 1/3 of what we had already paid. No meaningful attempt to compensation of what was a ruined vacation was made. This is a dishonest business that appears to cancel reservations through third parties (we had ours through *******) as soon as they find customers through their own direct booking, to save a few bucks, with complete disregard to customers. Furthermore, while the property seems to have expansive ocean views , there is no beach, no grounds, no on-site restaurant, and their pool is tiny, more like a hot tub, unswimmable (we saw the property in passing by). This business and their management doesn't deserve our tourist money and needs to be exposed for their dishonest, even deceiving practices. The Harbor Village resort on the same island, where we eventually ended up (for part of what supposed to be a full week vacation) is a much better resort and professionally managed.
