Sand Dollar Bonaire

Great place. We stayed in F17 which is on the first story and close to shore. The house reef is great for shore dives. The facility was clean, nice and reasonably priced. Staff was responsive and friendly. The kitchenette was great, you can cook your own food which will save a lot of money. The queen size bed was a little small for us, but we slept well. Overall, highly recommend.

Our family of 4 stayed in C10 for one week at the end of June. The apartment was very clean and very well stocked. Everything we needed to make meals was available in the kitchen. The decor and layout of the apartment added to the relaxed comfort. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful during any interactions. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Bonaire!

It was just what we needed for a great dive trip. Clean, updated places, friendly staff, and an awesome embedded dive shop (dive friends). Right on the water, with 2 beautiful reef dives from the property. What more do you need? The condos are independently owned, so each has its own character. But the website had pictures, so find the one that appeals to you.

We stayed for about a week in March 2024. Just two of us. We had a condo with basically one large room with side bathroom, kitchen area and bed/living area. Perfectible acceptable to us. Had everything we needed. Since we were here for diving and snorkeling: there is one small sandy beach area on the property to enter the water easily. The walkway on the beach side of the condos had a couple access steps directly into the water; there were several convenient showers along the walkway. Just south of, and adjoining, the property, was the Dive Bonaire dive shop associated with the San Dollar. Although there is a fence separating the two properties, there is a gate so SD residents can go directly between the dive shop and the condos. The dive shop had a dock that was very convenient for scuba and snorkel access to the water. Really liked that! Only minor improvement would be a pool. There is one at an adjoining restaurant, but that was kind of awkward. We would watch the sunsets of the walkway every evening. We would definitely go back again.

Really enjoyed our studio at Sand Dollar. This was my 5th trip to Bonaire and my first Sand Dollar stay. will book again. Spacious studio apartments with separate back and front entry. Back patio is enclosed and screened off which was perfect for rinsing and storing our scuba equipment. What set this place apart from others we have stayed other than the inclosed back patio was the more frequent housekeeping/cleaning services and the option to exchange our beach towels every day for clean towels! The staff is very friendly and there is also a gated entrance that requires a fob provided to gain access. If the gate is left up there was always a security guard or two providing security. Can’t wait to book our 2024 trip!

We love Sand-dollar. We usually stay here each time we visit. Rooms are always so clean and stocked. Being able to access Dive friends next door is pretty awesome too. I can’t say enough about the staff here. They are so friendly and helpful. We never stay anywhere else. This place is the best ever
