Mixed experience at hyson heritage i recently had my 4th stay at hyson heritage, and unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. In the past, i have had excellent experiences at this hotel, with their complimentary breakfast being a notable highlight. However, this time around, i faced a few issues. The main problem arose when i tried to escalate my concerns to the reception team. Specifically, my interaction with the front office manager, . He came across as curt and dismissive, twisting his words for the hotel's shortcomings. When i asked him about the room not being cleaned for over 12 hours, he provided a series of inconsistent explanations, including: 1. "you didn't inform us to clean the room"
2. "you said you had checked out"
3. "we thought you might come back"
4. "our cleaning staff is very busy, that's why it took over 12 hours to clean the room"
5. "if you needed i will ask the team to clean now(10pm" needless to say, this experience was frustrating and unprofessional. On a more positive note, i must commend the hotel general manager and ms. Sona, guest relations, for their excellent handling of my complaint. They listened attentively, apologized for the inconvenience, and took prompt action to address my concerns. Their professionalism and courtesy were a welcome respite from the earlier experience. *room and food quality* the rooms at hyson heritage are comfortable and well-maintained, and the food is available and tastes good. However, the service issues i encountered need to be addressed to ensure that guests have a consistently positive experience. Recommendation* while i would still recommend hyson heritage for its good rooms and food, i hope that the hotel will take my feedback seriously and work on improving their customer service, particularly at the front desk. With better training and attention to guest concerns, this hotel has the potential to provide an excellent experience for all its guests.
