My wife and I had an unforgettable experience visiting the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where we stayed at the beautiful Ashnil Mara Camp. The camp provided exceptional comfort, delicious meals, and stunning views of the Mara River, making our stay even more special. The breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife left us in awe. We were fortunate to see the Big Four lions, elephants, buffalo, and leopards up close in their natural habitat. The only animal we missed was the rhino, but the overall safari was nothing short of amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured we made the most of our time in the reserve. Staying at Ashnil Mara Camp added a touch of luxury to our adventure, and we can’t wait to return for another visit!

Ashnil Mara Camp is an ideal camp to experience the Masai Mara in comfort. Right by the Mara River, it’s perfect for game drives, with knowledgeable guides like Koech, who take you close to big cats, elephants, and more. The tents are comfortable with private decks, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. In the evenings, you can unwind by the campfire or enjoy the sounds of the wild from your deck. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

What a perfect stay we had here! An oasis of comfort and service, nice view and relaxation. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here because of the friendly staff (especially Kimpai & Danson), the absolute super gamedrives, top accomodations and great food & service. We had a little heartache leaving this place. Thanks again for a never to forget holiday!

Located deep into the Masi Mara this camp is an excellent place to stay. Being far into the reserve gives you a great opportunity to see the animals around the reserve. The staff go incredibly far as an example using hot water bottles to warm the bed in the evening, as the luxury tents are exposed to whatever temperature it is outside. As the camp is by the river you always have the chance to see hippos in the water. The food is a great choice and delicious with lots of variety. Our three day we were mostly hosted via Kim-pye who is friendly, approachable and you can have a laugh with. As the luxury tents are posted around the camp internet is only avaliable at the main reception, bar and restaurant area.

We were a group of 32 People. We toured Ashnil Samburu, The Ark, Sarova Lionhill and Ashnil Mara camp as our last destinations. The camp is amazing, the food delicious and buffet varieties, the Rooms are spacious and all the staff are amazing from porters, front desk and waiters They did outstanding work - excellent.

Our dream trip to the Maasai Mara finally came true, and the excitement was palpable. After a few short days of planning , Jacky ( Tranquil Expeditions) operating with a few days of notice delivered an itinerary that truly met our needs. 3 nights within the Maasai Mara Reserve next to the Maasai Mara River! Upon confirmation, we prepared for the trip only to be received on the material day by Jacky in a customized tour vehicle and driven by an experience guide. She come with flowers and a few brief notes explaining the route to Ashnil Mara Camp. Francis was extremely knowledgeable of the terrain, reserve and route ensuring that we experience an informative and expect trip . Francis was excellent, beyond the normal stops at view point Mai Mahui, he made sure that we arrived at Ashnil on time paving way for lunch, checking in procedures and and afternoon game drive. For 3 nights we experienced what Jacky via Francis had pieced together , exploratory drives in the Mara Triangle & beyond, tracking and sighting the big five in the Mara and comfortably shifting days through a tight Programme of wild life tracking, game drives and full days safari. Jacky’s safari camp selection was equally beneficial ( Ashnil Mara Camp). We were over run by crocodiles, lions, elephants, wild beasts and much more just by being inside the reserve and having the benefit excellent game drives from an experienced safari tour guide. Ultimately, the highlights are many but form our core belief of how a game drives safari should be run. Tranquil expeditions ensures that our itinerary covered all our initial needs and delivered beyond.
