Mara Explorer Tented Camp

This location far exceeded my expectations. The tent was stunning and cozy, and every meal was a delight. I was grateful to personally thank the chef each day for his exceptional cuisine. All the tours and excursions were memorable. This camp is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime destination. Understandably, my now fiancé chose to propose on our tent's patio, with hippos as our witnesses. Lawrence was a standout, offering attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous service. We adored him, and he is a major reason we plan to return. Also, a big thanks to our driver, Dominic, who helped us spot zebras, a cheetah, and a leopard all within an hour. I wish I could rate this place higher. Although I've traveled extensively, this has quickly become my top destination.

This was an amazing experience. We loved staying here, the crew made us feel so special, it was our 30 anniversary and they gave us a cake and took great care of us when we had a flat tire. The chef and staff (Lawrence) were the best of our trip, so so yummy! Mary helped us with anything and Duncan our game drive guide was great!! I was worried about staying in a tent but it was luxurious and how amazing it was to see hippos and elephants and giraffes right from our room. And to hear them at night including lions, gave us the true safari experience with all the creature comforts of home. I can't recommend this place enough, if your going to the Masa Mara, Kenya this is the place to stay!

I had a great time here. The service was great, and our waiter, Lawerence, had a great sense of humor. Mara explorer was a great place to go for game drives with family, and they had views overlooking the hippos in the river below. We had great food, bonfires, and saw so much during our game drives!

Vacanza tra amiche, abbiamo alloggiato qui, il lodge è bellissimo, nel cuore della savana, vicino all'ingresso del masai mara, tutto lo staff era a nostra disposizione, molto attento, gentile, anche il cibo era davvero ottimo. Siamo state coccolate davvero! Lo consiglio a tutti
