Tipilikwani Mara Camp

The Tipilkawani Mara camp was very beautiful and comfortable and great service. The accomadations, the beautiful suspension bridge over the Talek river to get to the lodge, the Masai guides who accompanied us from the lodge to the dining room and back, the dining room staff, the garden area, the pool, everything was really good. The food was very, very good and they have very good vegetarian options as well. They had packed us a really sumptuous breakfast when we set out on an early morning safari and had breakfast in the bush. All in all it was a wonderful stay and a great experience

Fabulous experience. Our guide Steve with his assistant Dani were both amazing. Steve had the crazy knack of sniffing out any of the animals we wanted to see. He made our last day memorable with a sighting of not just the African rhino but an angry one who charged at us and almost knocked our jeep! The migration itself was an out of the world experience. We were really lucky. After all the varied experiences in the mara, Tipilikwani was just the perfect place to come back to. Food and staff were both amazing at the camp. And I must mention about the guard who stayed up all night to keep us safe. It was really funny to see him all smiles and cheery even in the dead of the night.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, very comfortable beds. Located on the river, tents were clean and service was 10/10 Duncan our Maasai guide just wonderful Maasai Mara, just beautiful, animals a plenty. A family holiday to remember, would recommend

Went for some R&R on the last couple days of a mission trip. After hearing all they had been through with the flooding, we were very impressed with how hard they've worked to renovate the camp. They are well on their way to having all areas remodeled. We are thankful we could get in! Very nice people, and the game drives were amazing! Would definitely choose this camp again.

Excellent service, clean, nice pool, animals nearby. Staff was very hospitable and professional. Very friendly Maasai night guards. Great place to stay between game drives. Very good value for money. All in all we had wonderful time! Highly recommended.

Amazing tented camp in Masai Mara. The camp is not big and i believe there were only 2 family tents in the camp. We had a family tent and it was huge - with 2 big beds. The room was well furnished, bathroom and toilet as well. All necessary bathroom supplies were available (even a mosquito repellant and washing powder!). the tent overlooked the Talek river and the noises in the night were amazing - you could hear everything - from the crickets to a hyena. Because the camp is not fenced you get a masai guard to take you to dinner and back to the tent and he was always there when i went out (did he sleep in front of the tent :) ?) Food was very good, swimming pool as well. Service was amazing - you even get a warm bottle in bed in the evening for extra warmth. From the restaurant we could see grazing giraffes. It is an amazing place and I would definitely recommend it!
