Safari Camp located on the edge of the Masai Mara NP, really close to all the safari action. Nicely set up, with both hardside and tent cabins. Quite shaded and cool as well - a nice feature. Access is across a footbridge over the Talek River. My cabin was comfortable, with a nice-sized bathroom and a reasonably comfortable bed. The power went off a couple of times overnight but was mostly operable during my stay. The hot water for showers is solar, so it isn't tremendously hot or plentiful, but it was enough for my needs. There is a nice main pavilion for gathering, with a bar and restaurant. The food is plentiful but not memorable - I think they try too hard to please U.S. tourists' palates when they should be showcasing their own local and regional cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a spa that gives excellent (they tell me) massages for very cheap prices. There is also a swimming pool that looked clean and usable, but I didn't see anyone using it while I was there. Overall, a very good experience.
