Ideal Ayurvedic Resort Kovalam

Booked at ideal but placed in Gods own country resort across the road. This wasnt an issue as we just walked across for breakfast. Varied ndian buffet as much as you want, fresh fruit and drinks,toast, eggs of every variation on offer. Friendly and attentive staff. Hotel lovely setting. Room rather dated and could definitely do with a spruce up but roomy and clean. Had to ask for room to be cleaned a couple of times. Fridge in room. A/C and fan. No kettle but quickly supplied one on request. We do like our early mornng cuppa! Lovely pool. Clean and quiet no issue with sunbeds. We did not have any treatments.. This is a vegetarian non alcoholic hotel so you will have to go to lighthouse or Kovalam beach for either. Shops and one restaurant local again no alcohol. As long as not too obvious alcohol can be purchased and brought back to rooms. Restaurant will sell to you at beaches. Also be aware cannot use uber and have to use the local drivrs from hotel and from the beaches. We had to use hotel car to take us to the airport but not expensive 13000 inr. Otherwise no issue. Use Uber where you can as a lot cheaper. Overall good value for money. Enjoy.

Great experience. Small ayurveda resort, great and friendly staff ,good food and the doctors are very easy to approach and they are very professional.I will be back. It was my first but not last time to stay at Ideal Ayurvedic Resort..Thank you🙏

Good day everyone! It was my first time visiting India, Kerala, Ideal Ayurvedic Resort. To say that I had an unforgettable experience is an understatement. My 2 week stay at the Ayurvedic resort was simply excellent, from arrival at the airport till departure. The staff, service, food, treatment, ayurvedic massage are all top notch. I examined the local Ayurvedic centers and want to mention that there were centers with a higher level of accomodations, but Ideal Ayurvedic Resort corresponds to the price and quality. After two weeks of treatment, my general condition and mood noticeably improved, excess weight was noticeably gone, my skin condition were restored. I left with the intention of returning to this place again... Thank you for helping me to discover India at its best!!! A pleasant hotel staffed by friendly, engaging people who genuinely care about their guests. The place is immaculate and the facilities are good. The beds are quite ‘hard’ (which seems common in Kerala). The pool is clean, well maintained (but cold). The restaurant is excellent - brilliant service, wonderful Ayurvedic food - but not that it is Vegetarian only. The treatments they offer are excellent and good value - my wife had several massages. There is a nice beach a short walk away and the famous Shiva monument.

I highly recommend this place! I got very good muscle massage. The lady saw directly where were the spot to massage. I got out from there very relaxed. Also after this session I felt I my body movements were easier.

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. The food excellent With great taste. The food is well cook. The customer service is always available 24 hours which is important. The resort is secure with security on watch 24/7. The doctors are always on point with the treatment and very knowledgeable. The therapist are always on time and knowledgeable of their job. The therapist will always explain to the customer what they are applying to your body and why. The greenery around the resort is so refreshing and calm. I love the cleaness of the rooms and the all the staff I give a thumbs up all the way for their hospitality. I enjoy staying here and the staff is making it a memorable one. I highly recommends this place to everyone.
