I really enjoyed my stay at ganesh house, felt really welcome there and the owner and his family are just super friendly and helpful. Manoj gave me a lot of good recommendations for what i was searching for. More than that, the rooms are really clean and comfortable, and the location close by the beach. Thank you for everything!

Ganesh House is set in a peaceful, lush environment, very close to tranquil beaches as well as the more touristic Kovalam hustle, if you prefer. Manoj and his family have been very kind and accommodating hosts and keep the house specklessly clean.

I can rate the place only as excellent. Quiet, clean and hospitable. Nationally-styled. The host is very responsive to your every request and readily helpful. The homestay local resident are very polite and always at the guest service. Highly recommended!

I had a very good time at Ganesh House. I needed some time to recharge and do some work and this was perfect. As it was very hot and humid outside the ac room was a life saver. The kitchen had everything needed and the beach, supermarket, atm and restaurants are just a short walk. I ended up staying 9 instead of just 3 days.

Ganesh House feels a bit like a mansion, with much beautiful woodwork, an airy entrance and a spacious stairway to the upper floor. It is surrounded by a lush garden in a quiet residential area very close to the sea, with short walking distance to lovely Grove beach and Samudra beach. The house and the garden are very well cared for by the owner family. The kitchen could be developed; it does not serve seven plus occupants well at the same time. The laundry facilities suffer from similar insufficiency. But with good will and never ending support from the owners such details don't matter much. What does matter is the necessary consideration from each guest towards others. The house is far from soundproof. The seven rooms are all different but all have their own toilet/bathroom. I had the smallest one on the bottom floor next to kitchen and dining room. No view at all from the window. I did not think I would want to stay but stayed anyway for two weeks, and don't regret it. Highly recommended for the proactive traveller!

My wife and I vacationed in January 2024 - the apartment is very cozy, everything you need is there, the sea is nearby, the cozy, pretty Samudra beach, where there are very few people, there is a feeling of nature, a feeling of being one on one with the ocean) What was important for us was that that Manoj helped me a lot when I got hit by a big wave and got seriously injured. The Indian Ocean is not the Black Sea, the wave is longer and heavier. Manoj recommended a very good clinic and doctor in Trivandrum, helped order a taxi, and as a result, medical care was provided in a timely manner and at a very high quality level. For this, just a huge thank you to Manoj!

Lovely and friendly place - great base for birdwatching and mother and son are great and enthusiastic guides. Food is delicious and they will help you out in any way they can. We had a good en-suite aircon room with balcony overlooking the lake. I recommend a stay here.

Mr. Manoj and family are great host, very friendly and helping. Rooms and entire Bunglow are very neat and clean. All the facilities were available as described on there various posts. Breakfast was amazing, home made and much better than any good restaurant. Little away from main road but being tourist we had vehicle hence no issues. Certainly I would like to visit against and recommend to others.

A warm welcome was received from Manoj and his staff. Nothing was too much trouble, he arranged our taxi from the airport and allowed us early access to the apartment from a very early flight. An authentic Indian homestead which was just what we wanted away from the hustle of Lighthouse beach but still walkable. There are plenty of tuktuks to ferry you about. Excellent value for money. We were shown short cut to the local beach and restaurants which were great.
