Brennia Kottefaru Maldives

We had a wonderful vacation at Brennia Resort. We would recommend a villa with a pool. We would especially like to praise the great housekeeping. Ansari did a fantastic job. We had the best villa service you could wish for. And I have been to various resorts. Ansari read every wish from our eyes. We felt so at home. We would also like to emphasize the special service from Roni and Shaama in the Lime restaurant. They were wonderful and took such great care of us. We would also like to emphasize this again for the entire staff. Especially at the fruit buffet, a lovely plate with great fruit was always waiting for us. If something was missing, it was taken care of immediately.

Brennia is a very well run island that is bliss to visit. If you want uber luxury and complete pampering, spend 5 times as much and go elsewhere. If you want quality and comfort then look no further. We stayed in a water villa which was a joy. The sunrise views every morning and abundance of fish swimming around the villas were memorable. The bed was really comfortable and the ‘outdoors’ bathroom was a novelty too. We only ate in the main restaurant primarily because the food in there was delicious! Plenty of choice and loads of flavour in the dishes. Again, if you want white gloved waiters fawning over your every desire, this is not the place. If you want to be well looked after with decent food, it ticks the box. The beaches are lovely and despite the fact the resort was over 90% full, nowhere felt busy and there were always sunbeds available in the main areas. The sea is simply gorgeous and inviting. If I was being really picky, the variety of sealife within the house reef is limited. There’s an abundance of sea life immediately outside the reef but that’s only safely reachable by boat. You get one free snorkelling trip per stay but I don’t expect to be paying $80 a time to see all the sea life I want to see when staying on a Maldivian island! The diving centre is superb! Run as a separate business (Ocean Dimensions), it has excellent staff, good equipment and a whole host of identified dive sites that offer different challenges. In sum, this is a superb resort with really pleasant accommodation. The food is good and the bar staff are excellent too (loads of options for cocktails). I’ve read plenty of reviews bemoaning how it isn’t a true all inclusive resort - it is! There are 2 restaurants where you pay extra but that’s the same everywhere else. The only items I paid for during our stay were diving and laundry. Everything else was very much all inclusive

We had an awesome experience celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. .Everything is perfect & well organized. Delicious foods are based on a daily theme with friendly staff, Everyone is very helpful. We have been served impeccably by Sonia & Azad in the Lime restaurant who couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful & friendly. Personal & very helpful service by Ibbe Thank you for making our holiday so special. Room service staff are so attentive & do an amazing job. Returning from breakfast & the room smelled heavenly. All made up without us knowing they’ve been Everyone is top notch. There are a few water sports available like snorkeling, diving, kayaking & jet ski. We did the Sunset cruise & it was a very romantic experience. Staff willing to take photos & make your cruise very pleasurable. Every location of the island has unique beauty. 10/10

1- The delightful welcoming at Malè International Airport, where the amazing resort representative lady escorted us to the seaplane counter, then to the seaplane terminal. The journey on this is quite picturesque, and it’s a unique way to see the Maldives. 2- The treatment when I first came with injury on my tailbone from the seaplane/boat transfer. They gave me ointment and spray to relieve the pain. But later on, it came to my attention that a resident doctor was available at the island 24/7. This acknowledgment of itself made me feel safe. When I came to the room I found a bucket of ice to help with the pain waiting for me with some hand towels, a fruit platter, and a welcoming phrase on the bed with flowers (Our anniversary). I didn't plan a head my trip. That I truly regret. Because when I arrived, it was on August, a time that has been affected by southeast monsoons, or how the Maldivians call it "Hulhangu", which stretches from May to November and brings with it rains, strong winds, and rough seas. Therefore, water excursions were off. I suggest introducing folklore shows as compensation, as well as providing an introduction to the country, its history with pictures, some traditional music, and dances. 3- The cleaning policy of the rooms in the resort is really something wonderful. I hope to see it happen in other hotels and resorts worldwide, as well. Twice daily cleaning is exceptional! 4- The outdoor shower above the sea with open roof, overlooking the sea on the right and left sides, with privacy at the same time, made taking a shower outdoors an extraordinary experience, especially under the sun. There is an indoor shower as well, for the rainy days, super thoughtful. And boy, how I enjoyed the rain with the spectacular view.... the natural aquarium beneath the shower. Sometimes, I randomly come here looking for colorful fish, shark, or stingray. 5- I enjoyed the presence of baby sharks, the three teal blue fishes, the hermit crab that lost its trail and came to our door, it was hilarious...and the fruit bat on the tree that Mr. Ebrahim showed us. 6- The complementary multiple large glass bottled waters every day, something regarded as envious by other hotels and resorts where they introduce plastic ones (unhealthy) to their customers instead. 7-The staff are amazing. They understood our needs and fulfilled them to the best they could. Thank you deeply, Mr. Ebrahim, the resort supervisor, the welcoming staff lady at the airport whom I forgot her name, and Ms. Wisaal from the front desk. You did wonders. You deserve the gold medal. 8- The breakfast and dinner at the Lime restaurant are very delicious, with a variety of different cuisines each day, which made our stay more enjoyable. Each evening, there is a different dinner theme: seafood, Italian, Asian, BBQ, Mediterranean, Maldivian, and Tex Mex. We recently stayed at Brennia Maldives on an all-inclusive package, and from the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the property. The sea plane transfer was a unique and scenic way to kick off our trip, and the stunning views left us excited for what was to come. From day one, the resort impressed us with its cleanliness. Our room was spotless and maintained beautifully throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, explaining all the details of our stay perfectly and making us feel at home from the start. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of minor points we thought could be improved. At La Plae restaurant, we were informed that while drinks were available, we couldn't order food or starters from the Lime restaurant, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, if you're booking the All-Inclusive (AI) package, don't expect top-shelf whiskey—there’s a separate menu for those on the AI package, and premium spirits aren’t included. Despite these small issues, our overall experience was fantastic. The food across the resort was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and would definitely recommend Brennia Maldives to anyone looking for a beautiful island getaways.
