Lambi Resort

Great resort nice and relaxing. Extremely friendly staff who will help you with any issue you may have and will go above and beyond to make you stay great highly recommend Lambie resort. The beach is literally a stone throw away loads of mini markets around the property and only a 20 minute walk into KOS Harbor with loads of shops, bars and Cafes all the way down to the harbour. At the resort, there’s two great pools by one pool there’s a snack shack and the other there is a bar with friendly staff. the restaurant always lays on grape Food so many different varieties from continental to an English fry up the staff clean up after you they bend over backwards to do anything for you absolutely love this place

The hotel has a beautiful design, with the accommodations built around the pools. The rooms are minimally furnished, but you have everything you need, and they are clean. However, the food is very disappointing. The flavors are lacking, which is a shame because Greek cuisine is known for its delicious flavors using simple ingredients. For example, the fish was glazed, the ribs were tasteless, and the asparagus was mushy. I also expect more à la minute dishes, like grilled fish and grilled meat. The buffet feels very cold and almost lifeless. It is rarely replenished, and the bread was tough. Hopefully, the chef can turn things around so we can write a good review. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is cozy.

If good service and positive treatment is just a little bit important to you - don't come here. we felt very bad during the stay at this hotel, to begin with, my son has a milk allergy - something we informed the hotel before arrival. when we arrived there was nothing for him to eat, he was very hungry and we were asked to walk to the nearest supermarket because there they have dairy free options. my son is 4 years old, it is morning and we have just arrived and are asked to go to the supermarket as there are milk free alternatives such as almond milk etc there. even the most low-star hotel in Sweden has allergy-friendly options, we were offered dry NOT toasted bread with cucumber on it for him??? he ate pasta and tomato sauce all week at the hotel basically and the same dessert 3 days in a row, a little jam basically. once I bought dairy-free yogurt on my own, I go to the bar to get a spoon for my son since the restaurant is closed; I am then told that the spoons may not be brought into the room. I explain that it is for my son to eat his yogurt and get the answer that I have to come back with it. In short - don't come here if you have allergies. on to the next problem - we were harassed by a bunch of germans in the hotel, obviously regulars as the hotel mentioned they had been there the year before too, this leads me to believe the hotel didn't want to argue with them because they are "more important than us" since they come to the hotel the years before. the young kids of this German family threw water on us, threw balls on my children's heads in the pool, 6 and 4 years old. and because i told them to stop - they banged on our door in the middle of the night so the children were terrified. We ran out and saw them and even so the hotel refused to talk to them on the grounds that we did not go along and talk to them. because would you have paid SEK 25,000 to have drama with sick people without manners on your holiday? please. the manager is fed up with his life, disgustingly rude. there are also not enough sunbeds in the hotel. some sat on chairs by the pool and the grounds. note that the hotel itself is nice, the rooms are tidy and the pool is clean, there is plenty of room for sunbeds, but they have chosen not to bring in more because they are most likely stingy. it's clean around the buffet, but as Mentioned, the selection is very basic and mostly pork meat. we feel bad about how this was handled and that we had to call sunweb every other day on our holiday because we felt bad here, and we are not picky people. we kind of didn't want to be harassed and just for my son to be able to eat something. Ughhhh never coming back here. Some of the staff like the lady working in the kitchen and the security guy who also cleaned the pool(?) - really tried to help us. They were really Nice but the management such as the lady working mornings at the reception and manager with the piercing are dragging this hotel down from a 4 to a 2 star hotel tops. Oh

We arrived late and smell in the room was very bad. I thought ventilaiting the room will help. So we went to sleep. In the morning we realized that bed linens were not changed. Dirty and unchanged bed linens was the real source of the smell. I went to reception to solve the situation and they did not even say sorry. Very bad experience. The worst hotel I ever stay in my whole life.

I would describe the hotel as correct if the end of our stay was different... The rooms are quite neat, and clean but very poorly arranged. Absolute lack of storage space! A small wardrobe and that's it, no place to unpack your stuff. The food was rather decent. Opinions about the incredible courtesy of the staff are greatly exaggerated. Serious problems: 1. We arrived in the morning of the second day of our stay. It is obvious that we did not use anything since we were not there (neither rooms nor food). We returned at night (after 1 am) and for the first time, we were cut off from everything when handing over the keys. They cut our All Inclusive wristbands. We could leave our luggage in the storage room and we all felt like homeless people. You can rent a room for an extra 50€ but only until 18.00 which defeats the purpose (btw, there were no free rooms to rent…). She handed us a card which gave us the option to use the All Inclusive option until 14.30. After that, we paid for everything. I could even understand the food but what about All Inclusive drinks? I do not mean the diluted drinks but at least water would do. It is more than 10 hours to transfer to the airport without anything. During our stay I tried to negotiate this situation with the hotel manager – I explained that in fact, we did not use anything on the day of our arrival (as stated in the agreement with ITAKA) and we went on the whole day trip so we did not eat and drink anything on another day. Just tried to ‘postpone’ this food; I asked her just for a plate and food for each member of our group. She promised to talk it over with somebody else and to give me the answer. She did not get back to me with any decision; what’s more, she tried to avoid me and pretended not to see me… 2. The room for bathing and freshening up is a big misunderstanding (no ventilation at all) but in this situation, it is good that we could use it at least without paying. 3. There was a leakage from the ceiling in our bathroom; the drops of water were falling straight onto my back when sitting on the toilet (see picture). I reported that to the receptionist, and the guy tried to convince me that it is a normal (!) reaction of AC. I asked him to send somebody to fix it. There came another ‘engineer’ who agreed that it was a pipe failure in the room above ours. Tried to fix it (2 days) and finally did not succeed. On the last day, when we left the room, I saw the same ‘engineer’ fixing it in a rush and painting the ceiling. No comment. I realize nowhere is perfect but that last day was a misunderstanding. If it is as it says on the website that the hotel strives for 5* then it is a long way from that… I have been traveling for many years, to many countries all over the world, and have never been cut off from the basic services I paid for. Just to mention – we traveled as an 11-pax group of friends. Do not recommend this hotel!

There was a tremendous amount of broken glass in the big pool as well as the kids pool (Even more in the kids pool). Told the reception, the manager as well as the lifeguard daily and nobody did anything to fix it. Comment from the lifeguard was "but there are Thousand of pieces in there, how am i supposed to get it out?". Both my kids cut themselves several times and we spoke with several other guests with kids that had feet and hands cut open do to the vast amount of glass on the pool floor. Daily we had new children in need of medical assistance because nobody actually cared enough to do something. Nice surroundings and an ok room. Food was a 1 star experience. Especially the poolbar was surprisingly bad. I would strongly recommend a different hotel!
