Akti Palace Hotel

We’ve had an amazing honeymoon at this all inclusive resort on the beach front. The food is great and there’s a choice of 3 different restaurants to book into. 4 including the main restaurant that doesn’t need reservations. We opted for one of the sea view rooms instead of a pool room. Each block of rooms has its own pool. The pools can only be used by those in the pool rooms however they are still a great sight to see from a sea view room. The main pool is great with plenty of sunbeds to accommodate the amount of people. There is entertainment every night at the pool bar, a mix of live performers and DJs. All were very fun and entertaining, it has been great to have that to look forward to every night after dinner. The staff at this resort have been wonderful in every way. Housekeeping attend the room every day without fail. Staff knock the door every morning to see if you want the mini bar topping up (water, juices etc). Wait on you in the restaurants also. The spa is amazing, we have had 2 back and neck massages whilst we’ve stayed here, after our first one we were offered discounted prices for the second. Gives you time to book in for a second or even third massage before you fly home. They really know how to relax you and make you feel amazing for a good few days after the treatments. Overall, Akti Palace has made us feel like royalty on our honeymoon which is amazing considering we almost didn’t have a honeymoon in question so soon after our wedding.

Arrived at 10pm, lady on reception was lovely, but no welcome drink which would be a nice touch. Arrived at our room and what a disappointment, filthy bed with exposed foam and staining, missing bathroom fixtures just holes in the wall, dirty bath with missing enamel, mould and damp. The sea view we paid for was lovely. The room was dirty, brown marks all over furniture that remained there during our 11 nights despite complaining. The balcony was never cleaned or swept (see photos). Management tried to blame us on day 9 of holiday for not complaining but we did twice to reception and I reiterated to the lady manager that it was not our fault that there was a breakdown in communication between staff and herself. I told her that the hotel is 3 star plus at best and we were disappointed after spending 2.5k and all we were offered was a free late check out. The food is ok but we had raw chicken twice that the restaurant staff didn't care about or management. The alcoholic cocktails are awful premaid drinks, not 5 star quality. I know star ratings are different between countries but TUI rate this a 4 star plus but its 3 star or 3 star plus and I've visited many 4 plus ratings hotels in different countries. Staff are friendly, the grounds are OK. The entertainment and daily activities as advertised on reception are non existent. The hotel atmosphere is dead at nighttime. We did visit the sister Hotel and restaurant staff made us feel unwelcome and tried to move our table while we were eating so we did not return. The seafood restaurant is exceptional though. We booked this hotel in October 2023 when the reviews were good but I totally agree with the poor reviews of this hotel on this site. We most certainly would not recommend nor would we turn or book an Akti chain hotel again! This hotel ruined my surprise engagement that my partner had planned.

Good hotel they said 5 stars for the hotel i would say 3/4 stars some things need replacement but friendly staf and a lot of entertainment. the Spa is defintly 5 stars I had a massage from Maro and I would recommend her to anyone she is professional.

What can we say. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The staff are so helpful, happy and friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean with comfy beds with pure white linen. The food is of an high standard with many dishes to choose from. We loved the themed food nights in the different restaurants. The pool is lovely and clean with ample sun beds either by the pool or on the beach. The only thing we had a grumble about was the water activities. The free pedalos and kayaks never came out the whole two weeks we were there. The drinks included named brands and were available in all the bars within the complex.

Not a place we would come back to again unfortunately. Cleaners that don't clean properly and dont leave the towels and dont change bedding. Plates left outside rooms for days. Some of the staff are just miserable which is a shame as some are nice

An honest review, based on my experience only. I arrived with my teenage Son in the evening. Booked Sea View Room. I was informed at check in that we had been upgraded to family room since I was with my son. However, arriving to the room it was clear we could only just see the sea in the far off distance (our view was mountain one side, feild , building in distance, then in far distance, the sea.) We were clearly the last block in the row, furthest from the many blocks of rows in front of us, which were nearer the beach. This was an immediate disappointment. My first impression of the room was that it did not look clean... ( floors with foot marks, dirty) The bathroom was old , dated, dirty, half empty hand wash on the wall, discoloured sealant around he old Bath and shower screen... the shower rail would come off the wall if moved and the toilet was stained with recent urine. Quite a shock, VERY DISAPPOINTING and not 5 *. I actually did not feel I wanted to use the bathroom. I did not understand how the apparent upgrade to the family room was in any way an upgrade whatsoever ever. (no sea view... old dirty bathroom) Speaking with the person who had checked us in, I asked for us to have the sea view room which I had booked. I was informed this was not possible as we had been upgraded to a family room ! So it felt very much, that their opinion , was based on what they wanted us to have. Speaking to the guest relations person the next morning.... stating we did not have what would be considered a sea view, if struggling to see it... I was told... it could be seen, even if in the far distance. I was also informed that all bathrooms were old and dated. The following evening, we were offered a shared pool room although it would not have a sea view either. Speaking with my son, he had also wanted the balcony and sea view, as I did. We decided not to move rooms since I cannot swim and therefore wasted on me and my son preferred a main pool. We would have simply preferred the room I had paid for... with a sea view, not offered another room, since should I have wanted a pool shared room, i would have booked it. The food at the Akti Palace was canteen/ basic, cold and limited. However a better selection of food is found (and friendlier restaurant staff) at the Akti Beach hotel next door. The animation team also located at the Akti Beach Hotel needed to be searched for. When we did find the activity places, it was poorly organised. Mixed ages, limited and not age appropriate , catering for the range of ages. A wonderful amphitheatre space was never used. ( with exception of one evening... children's disco) Evening entertainment at the pool bar at the Akti Palace was incredibly poor. The entertainment for a run of 3 evenings were pub singers to backing tracks, aimed for an older audience. This would have been acceptable if for one evening, if with other professional performance entertainment acts to watch also. It was therefore disappo
