We have stayed In maisonette room which is dated but clean. We knew the hotel rooms were dated when booked. If you want modern book one of the other fantastic Mitsis hotels next door. The staff are fantastic couldn’t do enough for you. Food is good even for the pickiest eaters. Crepes done fresh till 1am. We would come back but having seen the other hotels would probably try Norida or blue domes. Wish I remembered all the staffs names from the fantastic reception staff, bar staff and wonderful catering staff. The food photos were from breakfast.

+ Beautiful hotel staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for all the guests. The room was clean and nice. Food wasn’t perfect but great selection and was very nice. Transport to and from beach was fantastic. - Extra 15€ Per night was a bit of a shock government tax - Arsenal lost.

We arrived late Thursday 24th April for a 10 day holiday, whilst there may have been some technical issues with the pool for a couple of days, it was soon resolved. The hotel team are simply the best I have experienced. Nothing is too much for them, all of them are happy, greet you and are really good fun. The rooms are fab, I had an upgrade to superior sea view room with sharing pool and it is simply fabulous. The food is good, whilst it is buffet, there is always something to eat and it’s fresh. Location is great, only a shuttle or short walk from the beach. A massive thank you to Miltos the general manager and the front of house team, you are all amazing and I would highly recommend the family village. You should all be very proud, an amazing holiday and I am sad to be going home.

Amazing holiday! Our hotel room had the most amazing view, food was good and staff were great. Everything was just so unreal, definitely a holiday we won’t ever forget Thankyou so much to you all The hill was abit steep but there’s a very regular shuttle to take you up and down. The pools were beautiful but colder than the sea, but we were there in October of that makes a difference Being there the last week of the season I was worried not many places would be open but I was so wrong, if you get the chance to go into Kardamena town I recommend to eat at Portoeye and skala

We have visited the Family Village many times, and we are never disappointed. It is like home from home for us. The staff are welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk in. Nothing is too much trouble, and they always remember us when we return which is lovely.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I must with this hotel. Just back from a weeks family holiday and what a special place this is. Check in was fast and welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean and refreshed every day by lovely cleaning staff. The stocked fridge was also a nice surprise. The food was good fresh quality with a wide range. I'm a vegan and was pleasantly surprised by the variety. The drink selection was brilliant too! Entertainment at night was great, ranging from circus acts to bands. Location was perfect. So are surrounded by by beautiful scenery yet only a quick cheap bus trip to kardamenia or kos. Taxis are reasonably priced also. The staff at this hotel were amazing. I have never stayed at a place where the staff are so friendly and engaging. They had so much time for the children. And nothing you ask is a problem. You can't walk past without interaction. A special mention to the lady that works on the cocktail bar at night time, unfortunately never caught her name but she was so lovely and made so much time for our baby. Genuinely feels like such a treat to stay at this beautiful place. We hope to go back one day.

Check in: was very quick and easy, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, we had booked a sharing pool room and I had emailed the hotel to request a ground floor room and was delighted that we were given one. The hotel gave our kids some presents on arrival which was lovely. The Room: the rooms are big and clean, the fridge was stocked with some drinks which get refilled every second day, the rooms definitely need some updating, there was no curtains or blinds on the window that divided the 2 rooms, so no privacy when getting changed with 2 kids in the same room. The balcony was a good size and sharing pool was great for kids but the ladders need some repairs. The corridor outside our room was really noisy, this is not the hotels fault, other guests with their children screaming and shouting and running up and down at all hours of the day and night, was very annoying but can’t be helped. The food in the buffet of the hotel is excellent, we were very surprised at how tasty and fresh the food was for all inclusive, it’s the best we have had, and staff couldn’t do enough for you. The crepes and ice cream stand is a lovely touch and our kids enjoyed this the most, I can’t count how many they had. The drinks at the bar are very good too, the cocktails were lovely and the iced coffee was really good. The hotel it’s self is really small and entertainment is held outside at the main pool, we found the entertainment let the hotel down a lot and was quite boring. All in all we had a lovely week at the hotel and found most staff to be friendly and welcoming. Kos is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. We will definitely return again but next time we will try one of the other Mitsis hotels in the complex as they all looked beautiful to.

It was very uncomfortable beds and barely any space I love the cats the food was ok but the pool was too salty I hated it I would only come back if the room was more bigger and that the bus to the beach was bigger and faster I also think the food should have more options

This is our third time at this hotel,we absolutely love it especially the staff they are absolutely fantastic aspasia the waitresses in the evenings is just an asset to this hotel and also juliano the head bartender! The rooms are clean and have everything you need(could do with updating)love the mini bar being restocked every other day,the food is very nice a great selection for everyone even fussy eaters,great selection of drinks I think a frozen strawberry daiquiri would be a perfect addition to the menu! I also love spending time at the main pool but it would benefit from upgrading the sun beds and some good music on as the entertainment team have music on which is fantastic but they turn it off when they leave,we had a fantastic time as a couple and will definitely return at some point but the only thing putting us off coming back is the entertainment team during the day this year and last year we’re not great 2018 team we’re just amazing! And the evening entertainment is not great,the only night we enjoyed was the drifter they were upbeat and had everyone singing and dancing,the Greek night was disappointing I was expecting more and the rock band were very boring,not rock music at all which we were looking forward to,I have to say the beach cart was a fantastic upgrade from last year’s,the new toilets at reception are a massive improvement and all the plants around the pool area look fantastic,overall we love this hotel and would love to return one day but would maybe need to see some more improvements

First time at this hotel. Lovely staff they were all really helpful. From management right up to cleaning staff Lovely food we even got duck legs one evening which I have never seen at a all inclusive Amazing views I will definitely be booking again

This was our 1st time to KOS & looking at some of the reviews over the summer for the Mitsis Family Village we were concerned ! however what a great relief we loved it!! Upon arrival the reception team are very pleasant and the porter took our cases to the room and also when we departed a porter came to collect nothing was to much trouble - very impressed. We requested a Sea view room and wow we had an excellent view, the block came with a shared pool which was lovely, the room was exactly as others have stated is dated but very large and a lovely bathroom suite with plenty of wardrobe space. Mini bar refreshed every other day nice touch! & the guy that does this who also works in the restaurant is brilliant! The room was cleaned daily and was spotlessly clean! The restaurant staff work very hard, always eager to get you seated and work tirelessly. There was a vast selection of dishes with the chefs cooking various dishes by the buffet area as well. The beach food is freshly made pizza and freshly made wraps these are a really nice addition, combined with nice vibe music with friendly beach bar staff. The pinnacle is the great guy that takes you on the cart to the beach so friendly and gives you a good steady ride. The ice cream and crepe bar which serves from early until 1 am i think is really good. Bar staff work very hard if I am going to be ultra critical i felt the drinks were unfortunately watered down, but this was the same on the beach bar as well just a personal opinion. Good bus service into Kardamena. On the whole had a great time and will be back next year!

We had the most amazing holiday and stay at Mitsis family village. We stayed in one of the shared pool rooms and it was great. All the staff were lovely and there’s nothing they couldn’t do for you. In the room the air con was fantastic and the mini fridge stocked up daily. The food and drink was the best we have had in an all inclusive especially the cocktails. The kids absolutely loved the unlimited crepes and ice cream and the pizza on the beach was a great hit. Being able to spend the day at the beach and still be all inclusive was fab. There are buses from the hotel into Kardamena and Kos town and both places are definitely worth visiting. These is a hotel in Kos town mitsis ramira that you can visit and use there all inclusive. The pools are lovely, we spent a lot of time at the slide pool with the kids. We are already looking at booking again next year. That’s so much mitsis for an unforgettable holiday!

Just come back from having a wonderful time with our family in this lovely hotel. We were not sure what to expect and wondered if we would be out of place among young families, but far from it. We booked a superior sea view room which more than met our hopes and the adjoining shared pool had beautiful views across the coast. Great food in the restaurant. Something for everyone and lots of Greek dishes to try. The dining experience is relaxed, perfect for families but very far from being a canteen! There are plenty of free drinks and snacks to enjoy during the day. We’ve been to a couple of all inclusive hotels where drinks were limited to the meal times, and then almost rationed by the staff. Not so here, where there was an almost endless array of cocktails to try, and excellent coffee/soft drinks during the day. The beach is a steep walk, but there is a continuous shuttle service provided by the hotel. Outside the hotel you can catch a bus into Kardamaina for €2 pp and there you can book trips around Kos and neighbouring islands. The bus service into Kos Town is once daily from the hotel and cost €3.80. The only thing we would warn about is the fact the property is set into a mountainside and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. After a couple of days we were able to conquer the stairs up to our apartment without stopping for breath, so getting fit might be an unexpected bonus! Thanks to the hotel staff for a lovely holiday and providing such a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely like to visit again.
