must warn you in advance this is going to be a long one, there are pros and cons I will start with the pros first, it will be the shortest! The pool and view stunning, most of the staff lovely and the shuttle to the beach is brilliant, in the area you have one little shop, which i christened Arkwrights because it literally was open all hours, and one little Taverna called Evli, basic but nice food, its like going back 50 years Now for the complaints It started with our executive sea view room, it felt like going into a basement, i did mention it straight away to Georgia, who told me in no uncertain terms, “You have a balcony” Georgia herself needs to go on a customer hospitality course, quickly, i found her unhelpful and quite rude at times I would class it a partial sea view because the trees where blocking it when sitting down, i have included photographs, room 203 The toilet bowl was stained, the shower underfoot was disgusting, see photos You are allocated one bottle of water in your room on arrival, and that is it, ALL 5 star hotels i have stayed in replace that bottle every day You have 2 sticks of coffee in your room, if you want more you have to go to reception everyday, this is not a 5 Star service, no replacement of toilet roll, i had to walk over the car park to reception one morning for a toilet roll, again not 5 star service! No milk pods in room, and the mini bar price list is there with wine on, but the wine was never put in the fridge, personally i think it is because they can make more money at the bar charging ridiculous prices! No pack in room with the usual local information you would expect, again not 5 star ! I did speak to the jet2 rep and she told me that the hotel was going to speak to me directly about the restaurant issues i had, Georgia had plenty of opportunity but she seemed to prefer to hide! The drinks are very very expensive, a glass of wine, small measure, was 9 Euro, a bottle at dinner 30 Euro, 2 ouzos, small measure 20 Euro, absolutely no atmosphere in the bar area at night because people with any sense where not prepared to pay the over inflated prices, which was a shame because it was a nice area with a wonderful view. Now the Restaurant! I did email the hotel prior to going and they assured me they catered! For the full 10 days the menu was the same, except with a couple of exceptions, that was after i spoke to Georgia on the third night to ask her to arrange the kitchen to do something different and frankly edible, like moussaka, which they did, even tho she said I wouldn’t be able to eat it as gluten free people cant eat potatoes ! I told her to google what gluten free meant , the kitchen did do a gluten free version The only other addition they did was add two gluten free appetisers, an octopus dish and a cheese pie, i asked the waiter to check with the kitchen, both NOT gluten free, they could have quite easily put someone in hospital! Georgia also lied to me telling me the menu was changed approximately
